Considering the self inflicted mess we are in it's amazing we are in contention, never mind favourites.
Unfortunately, I think the worst is still to come. I have real concerns about the pending managerial appointment, the current squad and injury list.
Never mind a notoriously limited January transfer window.
The Board are at war with our support, many of which they treat with arrogant contempt and it's very possible their decisions (or lack of them) could see our odds shifting drastically?

A complete mess. Everything is misaligning and that won't be good for the players. I feel sorry for the players. They are human and they are turning up for work which is nothing short of a toxic environment. What employees would want that.
Fair play to them we are still in the hunt…. But like you I feel things are about to get worse. You normally expect a boost with a new manager being appointed, however, if the press are right with Nancy, i can't see things getting better.

Get a fecking grip man. Doomed? Hopefully we get no more injuries. Keep winning on the domestic front till we get a few players in January.
