Journalists Stephen McGowan mentioned that Brendan asked for a meeting on Monday.
He lay all his cards on the table and said there's only 2 ways going forward.
Either they press the reset button on their strained relationship or it was time to call it a day.
Later on they got back to Brendan and said that they would accept his resignation.
If true that looks more like a sacking to me.
I think DD has had that statement wrote for weeks because it was released only 15 minutes after the news that Brendan was meant to have resigned.
I would still like to hear what Brendan has to say.
Maybe he will say something during the International break which is just before the Celtic AGM.

Hopefully we never hear from him again

We will never know what actually went down as both parties will have a different version of events.

On the nose Steff.
Its over, he's gone and we need to move on.
{Ed007's Note - I was told earlier on that it was DD that called the meeting, Rodgers thought he was getting sacked so didn't turn up and then resigned... ?♀️

If that is true ed it contradicts Desmond's statement.
