I'm still trying to figure out why we signed Balikwisha. He seems like a lazy player with next to no output. Might just be settling in but not shown anything for that price tag. Would be better with Mikey Johnston.

I said before we signed him, he looked a very ordinary (tidy) player and no better than Palma, who we deemed not good enough.
Hopefully we'll find his position at some point but another one with an apparent lack of urgency in his demeanour.

Tounekti gets the ball and runs at his defender, Balikwisha gets the ball and straight away looks backwards.
That may be because Ralston is always behind him and not going past him.
I would say Ralston was probably our poorest player last night. The sooner AJ is back the better.
I like the boy but he doesn't look forward, everything is backwards and occasionally sideways.
Is it a confidence thing, not wanting to make a mistake.
I think Maeda through the middle on Sunday as his pace will give them problems.
Kenny did well but he needs to bulk up and learn to be more physical.
Jamsie struggled with lack of forward movement to support him last night also.
Last year we overloaded out wide but can't seem to do that just now on the right.
Scarrachi did it so well last night, someone like him on the right would be good.
We just need to keep making ground on Hearts until the January window and hopefully with a couple of players and a new Manager we can move forward amd make serious ground.
MON will provide the steadying hand we need but he is not the longterm solution.
IMHO neither is Bellamy, Ange or Keane.

Based on his injury record alone we should have gave him a wide bearth.

Mon obviously isn't the long term solution but hopefully there long enough to get the belief and self confidence into some of the players and the new manager gets the benefits.
