I was pleased with how the team played last night, passing a lot crisper and more passes going forward.
The bhoy Kenny played well, made good intelligent runs, but I just wish he was at east an inch taller and more toned muscles, as I felt he is still too easily shoved off ball, but for the SPFL he will do, but we need a lot better quality for Europe.

Certainly better performance and more direct. Almost all our chances were created from a player hitting the byline and crossing behind the defence, (not rocket science) .
With this in mind for Sunday, I would like to see Tounetki start on the right with Maeda on the left. Both full backs can offer overlaps too.
I thought Engels had a better game and seemed better suited to the deeper role. This allowed Nygren and McGregor, (to a lesser extent) to break forward in support.
I was also quite impressed with Osman's cameo. Looks very sharp and could be a versatile addition to the squad. Hatate still nowhere near his best and continues to look like he wants to stroll through the game. Needs a rocket up his bahookie!

Cal and Arne both playing together with Nygren almost a free roaming no10. Gets proper control of the middle of the park and Nygren just knows where to pop up in great positions. He might miss loads but if he's chipping in 2 goals every 3 games from AM then tat could be the answer.

Engles looks a lot more aggressive recently and looks a better player.

I noticed that last night Mally, I think with Mon's man-management skills he'll get a bit more out of Engles and a few others.
