I read people saying that it would have been the right time in the previous summer to have sold Maeda as he was playing in his prime. We have all seen his dip in form this season and the possible reduction in his transfer value.

Should the same be said about Liam Scales? Wouldn't want to see him leave but based on Celtic's trading model but if a decent offer came in should we consider it?

I would keep scales but would also shift AJ, ccv and hatate.

We will consider any offer that meets our valuation regardless who the player is!

Given form, injuries, time at the club and the real potential of a new manager walking through the door before the week is out, you'd expect several changes between January and the start of next season.

CCV, Maeda, Schmeichel, AJ, Hatate could be some who move on to pastures new.

We're crying out for new blood from the GK position through the defence and midfield, right up to the striker.

If it's Nancy or whoever, they'll want some of their own type of players signed, in order to play their style of football.

There's not many current Celtic players I would keep.

We need to build a team around only a couple of them which does include Scales because CB's tend to get better with age and I'm expecting he will continue to improve.

With all that has gone on over the past months - much of it negative and destructive - this could be similar to the lockdown league season. Between management upheaval, Boardroom incompetence. supporters protests and vetoes, not to mention injured and unsettled players - we are heading into a very difficult period.

One transfer window will not make up for the damage done and it will be an outstanding achievement if Celtic manage to salvage the title, considering things may even get worse before they get better?
