I can remember Scales playing left back and scoring a cracker at Tannadice before he got his chance at CB.
Maybe that was his first Celtic goal.
I read that Nancy likes to play a 3-4-3 which would suit Scales on the left side of a back 3 with him being comfortable playing at left CB and left back.
Our only problem is we don't currently have 3 good CB's available.

That's why we need another cb in January.

I think Scales would be fine at left back, better defensively but less of an attacking threat. Inamura also looked strong defensively in that position even though he is a CB.
