That's the first time in nearly 40 years Celtic have won 6 consecutive times away to St. Mirren.

Celtic actually won 8 consecutive times away to the Buddies from April 1984 until September 1987.
Since then we have won 5 in a row a couple of times and for long periods tonight I was thinking that trend was going to continue.

Better being lucky than good, if that had been 0/ 0 I would have been all for starting a fullscale boycott right after that game. So don't know where the fan base goes from here with regards to the board . Wonder if Rocky Desmond was there to watch that dross no doubt was back with his s****bag father begging not to go to another Agm.

Love my captain. He never gives up but that is just a sticking plaster goal.
We are actually in serious trouble if we continue with the existing set up. We need to get the new manager in asap to work alongside MON so he can hit the ground running.

God knows how this board are actually going to achieve that but it needs done now!
MON will always have a place at our Club but not as the current manager!
3 points tonight but could easily have been 1 or even none.
We can't go on with this malaise.

I would say the boards lack of quality replacements have impacted the team much more.

Too many SPFL level players in that team which is exactly the level that the board aspires to.

Will you step away from the dispute if you can't be balanced? He's spot on with what he says. If fans want to make a point they had the perfect opportunity to do it at the AGM in a constructive manner but couldn't!

Continually shouting about the board during games doesn't help the team. Maybe makes those supporters feel good but has a negative impact on the players, as can be seen with that and many other performances.

After the AGM the board knows exactly how some fans feel, so all fans need to get back to getting right behind the Manager and team or this could be a very poor season for us.

If we play like that in the final, we are in trouble.

The team that plays consistently usually wins the league and at this point that is not us.

The main concern for me is that change is not going to come quickly at our club, no matter how many protests there are, however how much damage is going to be made to our club in the meantime until change is achieved, if at all.

What I said was, yes there needs to be some protest, and I am behind that, the board have let us down, but on a Saturday get behind the players, from start to finish.

Ed, there is no doubt they hear it, the crowd are not shouting for them. All they hear is negativity.

They are not robots, they read and hear this nonsense all the time. It is all over social media, our national media and come Saturday it doesn't change.

I am not saying that is the sole reason for the performances because our players form hasn't dipped it's plummeted but it must have an influence.

The atmosphere around the club must be different and they will pick up in it, they are human.

Ralston has been with the first team for 10 years and hasn't made any improvement
Hope the new manager has a magic wand because until players come back from injuries or January arrivals he's going to need one.

That was beyond shocking.
It won't be hard to get a better performance shooting into the Celtic fans in the 2nd half.

It's hard to tell if Maeda isn't making any runs for Ralston because he constantly passes the ball backwards.
Celtic got a free kick 30 yards out and it ended up with Schmeichel.

Celtic need to get out of here with 3 points and then get a permanent Manager in ASAP for fresh ideas because this is woeful.

It was flat all round from everyone, but it's games like tonight, that win titles. Grinding out performances when not at your best. Definitely need some fresh impetus in the side. A bit of pace, physicality and some flair too when up against these stubborn, low block teams.

A proper ST who is in decent scoring form but has anyone got any suggestions on who they would like to see signed?

Terrible performance especially first half. Ralston is a trier nothing more. Always looking to play the ball back. No forwards of any quality and no service from midfield if there were.

Squad needs help and not sure we can get to January unscathed. Don't think a new manager can help that much with those players and the long term injuries we have.

Going to be a long winter!

Hatate and Maeda are passengers not interested in my opinion. Neeed physicality in there, only suggestions I have given the subs, put Nygren and Bernardo on for they 2 also Donovan for Ralston.

They should have both been sold in the summer but our board fecked up the whole transfer window. Instead of leaving the window with a stronger team and squad we left with a weaker one.

Its a perfect storm. The board fecked up not signing players we needed, BR fecked up, deliberately not giving some players a chance and playing plauers in the wrong positions, and the fans fecked up expecting more than this board were prepared to offer up.

In the recent past we've believed and hoped that we were getting a decent player or two in the transfer windows.

Before the AGM we were hearing of the possibility that Lawwell was retiring and Nicholson was resigning - MON was getting a seat on the Board and a new manager was coming in.

What panned out?

No decent players in.
Lawwell and Nicholson are still there.
No seat on the Board for MON.
No new manager.

Maeda is wanting out and he's been told he can only leave if a replacement can be found - he'll still be a very unhappy player in the run up to the summer window as no replacement will be in.

The last of those games was March 1st when Celtic were a different animal and it's been downhill for over since.
