Yang signs news contract to 2030.

Outstanding statement from Michael Nicholson.

True leadership. Absolute titan of a man.

Take back everything I ever said about him.

22 May 2026 16:03:04
Mark guidi was excellent on his radio show nailed it along with big Charlie.

Going for a double and could have been a treble really losing that final was a godsend in hindsight. Never believed we would be and its glorious. Its only final in a while I don't feel the jitters yet. Feel our team just beginning to click with player's returning.

Who do we reckon is going and staying?
Hope Maeda does a upturn, unlikely
Hope Arne stays, unlikely
OK with Nygren going but only because our current set up doesn't suit. Imagine what he could do in the right set up? Likely away as well

Would like Sirrachi to be bought and a cheeky bid for Aruajo! Perfect competition for AJ.

Then we only need to concentrate on a defensive mid andat least a winger with Jota fit again hopefully.

Ďefensively we have CCV backb but need another and a no2 keeper feels Sinasalo deserves no1 spot.

Not a million miles away and will have loan player's returning. We should be able to buy quality especially with quality leaving.

Anyway, it's surreal that this season of all could be more successful than last season. Who knew?
The meltdown embolisms are hilarious. Imagine having nothing but being devastated not for your own team but the team above your team in the league.

Ah well there is always the close season optimistic hubris.

HH.

Araujo can't defend and would cost a fortune. Sinasalo isn't good enough to be out number 1 goalkeeper yet.

ED007 is there anything in these latest stories about SPFL launching investigations into two Celtic games.

{Ed007's Note - The following matches are being investigated under SPFL Rules H36 and H37:

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Hamilton Academical

Motherwell v Celtic

Hamilton Academical v Clyde

Celtic v Heart of Midlothian

Stenhousemuir v Alloa Athletic

The SPFL Rules H36 & H37:

H36 The home club in any official batch must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, H36.1 good order and security; H36.2 that policies and procedures have been adopted and are implemented to prevent incidents of unacceptable conduct; and H36.3 that any incidents of unacceptable conduct are effectively dealt with, all at its stadium on the occasion of an official match.

H37 Each Club must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that: H37.1 its Players, officials, supporters and any person exercising a function for or connected with the club do not engage in unacceptable conduct at a stadium on the occasion of an official match; H37.2 it identifies any of its supporters who engage in unacceptable conduct at an official match; and H37.3 it takes proportionate disciplinary measures in respect of supporters so identified in terms of Rule H37.2.

Is Keane on the way but hopefully Martin has a role.

22 May 2026 16:05:20
Can't understand the clamour for Keane.

One season at Maccabi Tel Aviv and failing to win 8 in a row with Ferencvaros is hardly a convincing CV.

Could be a Desmond yes man though?

Saw a photo of famous Russian keeper from yesteryear Yashin. He was wearing the flatcap many number ones did back then.
Reminded me of our very own Frank Haffey at a Hampden cup tie circa 1960.

A long high ball was punted towards his goal, he raced out the box, whipped off his cap, and headed it miles back up the park to great laughter and applause. I think it was against Dunfermline.

22 May 2026 14:41:53
That was no mean feat with the old tanner bawz. 🤣

Think he was 6 foot 2 before the header and 5 foot 8 after it.

22 May 2026 13:34:42

22 May 2026 12:28:48
Well that's 6 days in a world of cameras and smart phones and still no evidence of assault I presume hearts were recording the game so wheres the evidence, egg and face come to mind back in yer box.

22 May 2026 12:52:56
Mally, 60,000 mobiles, SLY cameras everywhere, CCTV in the stadium, loads of officials and no one has come forward naming an injured player or shared photos or videos.

Plenty video of fans singing and laughing at sevco siblings leaving on their bus. Just the usual away fans banter. Absolutely nothing to show violence or any threat.

No evidence that they were under siege within the stadium or changingrooms.

McInnes was aware the game was over, yet he stayed silent stirring the pot by that silence.

His club were aware of the audio but yet they came out with their midweek media release questioning if the game had infection been completed.

Did they think in their naivety that the audio would not be released after they heard it.

Jackson, English, the slug, the village idiot, Ryan Stevenson and all at BBC Scotland should lose their jobs.

The slug and the idiot both put a ref and his family's lives in danger by their conspiracy theory comments.

They have all brought the game into disrepute.

It has been utterly disgraceful.

Yes, as sevco siblings said, it has shamed Scotland but is them, their majority shareholder and our mainstream media that have done it and make no mistake, they will not apologise.

The media jumped on stories from the sevco siblings dressingroom and did not confirm its accuracy and ran with them.

We have been castigated nationally and worldwide because a team lost the title on the last day because they and their rat Manager didn't have the mental fortitude to see it through.

Simple as that.

22 May 2026 13:22:14
It is a bit like the assault our board accused our fans of. Absolutely no evidence of it having occurred.

Out board are a bunch of hypocrites for calling hearts out for something they did themselves.

22 May 2026 13:24:03
Well Said.

22 May 2026 14:29:08
Anyone see the Davie Cooper legend programme on BBC last night?

Showed the old Rangers winning the league in 86/ 87, I think it was. Pitch "invasion" ensued. Celebrating fans will cross the white line as they have done so for decades. Normally the losing team has more class though and accept it's part of the game and their own fans will do the same given the same circumstances.

The SFA need to bring the Diets to book as it is their comments and reaction to the defeat, along with the usual media clowns, who have brought any disrepute on the game!

22 May 2026 09:11:12
If our Board had any balls (they don't) then after Cup Final they should hold a presser and pin up all the defamatory quotes and call the accusers out. Like, "Pat Nevin states Shankland punched. " "Tony Bloom claims 1 or 2 players assaulted ", etc etc. And have Wilson ask if these people wish to withdraw their statements and issue a public apology.

MON might be inclined to do it and has already almost done so, the Board as per have said nada and would probably have sided with Media over our fans was it not for MON comments.

22 May 2026 12:28:58
Keane resigns. Is he coming to Celtic?

22 May 2026 12:53:49
Ban Nevin and the rest them all from the stadium and their media backers.

22 May 2026 20:06:43
If it's true Pat nevin apparently said he saw hearts players being hit in the face. If that's true Celtic need to send a lawyer and ban him.
