I’m very surprised the Attendance has been given as 46,000.
I was at the back of the upper stand last night and I thought the Attendance was about 35,000.

It looks like tickets that have been bought in the package but they couldn’t make the early kickoff time have been included.
Plus fans on the home ticket scheme that couldn’t make the early start last night.

My mate told me that Celtic have officially challenged the var decision to disallow our goal.

We were garbage for sure but that decision did not help.

Was stevie wonder in the var room making the decision?

More to the point, very suspicious that the referee did not even go to the pitchside tv to view the event but chose to stand and wait for decision to be made for him.

Stinks of cheating to me and should be investigated.

I've mentioned this before.
Celtic lost 7 games from January until the end of last season which was equally the most since 1990.

In the calendar year of 2024 Celtic only lost 2 games which was the least amount in over 100 years in the same calendar year.

This same management team and majority of the same players are in danger of losing the most amount of games in the same calendar year since 1990.

That would be insane to break a record which stood for over 100 years to then get the worst record in 35 years in the space of only 12 months.

Since 1990 when we lost something like 17 games,
Celtic have lost 13 times on a couple of occasions.
One of those years was 2007 which was strange considering Celtic won the 2007 league title and Scottish cup but we still lost 13 times in that same calendar year.

Celtic have currently lost 9 times in 2025 and that will become 10 if we don't win the league cup in December.
Celtic still have 4 Europa League games to play and multiple league matches before the New Year.

Great stats buzz, just reiterates how far we’ve declined in such a short period of time. Truly worrying . ED I know your busy but I respect your opinion and was wondering do you think we should just let Rodgers run his contract down and make a change in the summer or would you try extend . Thanks.

{Ed007's Note - I think it's for the best for everyone concerned if there is a parting of the way with Rodgers, personally I'd have started looking for his replacement in the summer, get agents etc to see who might be interested.

I know some players are not playing well but Rodgers is 100% to blame for our form just now.
His tactics are killing these players stone dead, couple that with the fact he is playing so many players out of position
Mcgregor who isn't a number 6 but playing there
Engels who is a number 6 but at 8 to accommodate Mcgregor
Bernardo who is a number 6 or right side Central midfielder but playing left centre
Maeda upfront and out right
Nygren is a winger and Rodgers playing him at 8
Iheanacho played about 30 yards from goal with his back to it.
Add to the his absolute bizarre subs, is it any wonder we are struggling?

On top of that he is playing politics and 100% putting his own reputation before the good of the clubs.

Kev - don’t agree with most of your post apart from Engels must go to 6 - we are lucky to have Brendan and he has a part in where we are with Europe but most of the blame lies with the board.

Celtic have failed to score in 5 of our last 9 games.

Last season Celtic only failed to score in 5 games for the whole season which included playing in 10 CL matches.

Brendan did however struggle in his first season back with it only taking him until November 7th to record his 5th match without scoring.

In the 2022/ 23 season under Ange,
Celtic only failed to score 4 times for the whole season.

In Ange's first season,
Celtic failed to score 7 times for the full season.

Brendan in his first spell went through periods when his Celtic team would struggle to score goals but he would somehow find a solution.

Brendan mentioned last night it was his job to find a solution to our dry spell once again.

The players especially the likes of the captain have been hiding to a certain extent behind all the abuse the board and manager have been getting, but they should be getting held accountable more, especially for our european form this season.
Our players should have been good enough to beat the kazakhs without any instructions and probably beat braga also.
Whats been going on behind the scenes has in a way give the players, especially the senior players a free pass in all this.
They need to be held more accountable and 90% of them need punted very quickly, starting with Mcgregor and Schmeichel in January.
Start a rebuild around a new captain.

I put their performance down to our board as they are the ones who failed to strengthen and are the root cause of all the negativity surrounding Celtic at this moment.

Our midfield has been non existent since February. The gaps we leave in the middle of the park are unbelievable. it's been happening for months and not just this season.

It's going to be a slog until January and even then I don't trust us to make the necessary changes or recruitment. It's a notoriously "hard transfer window".

There's not much to cheer at the games right now and BR is far too stubborn to change his tactics. His half time changes last night were absolutely baffling.

Iv said it before, everyone has his tactics and Celtic well and truly sussed. Long long season ahead.

A huge amount of work required on our squad.

Last year we scored the most amount of goals in a season in the last 54 years, excelled in the champions league and were a penalty kick away from a treble.

Then the board got involved, sold the players who scored all those goals and inexplicably had no plan to replace

Then they stab the manager in the back with no consequence as yet.

And we have fans who wonder why the team is struggling and can’t score!

And the bank balance keeps rising.

Schmeichel and McGregor definitely fall into that category with serious question marks over the continued selection of Maeda and Tierney who are offering nothing like what they are capable of - for probably different reasons. The manager has also covered his back during this whole fiasco, but even the supporters are distracted and nullified by the sins of our disruptive and destructive Board.
