Martin O'Neil went with Hatate and Maeda yesterday as 2 of the substitutes, The situation Celtic are in Martin might of thought they could have made a difference yesterday, but those 2 have done nothing to deserve to play, they have got the experience, but they are looking for there next move in the summer and the 2 of them don't seem to be interested, l would rather play Donovan or Mc Cowan or Bernardo, than Hatate in Midfield, and l wouldn't let Maeda even be a substitute, he has been another empty jersey.

I don't think 433 works for us. We don't have the midfield for it. Nygren hasn't the legs to get back leaving calmac and whoever beside him overloaded. Our two cbs end up exposed with a dodgey keeper behind them.

Honestly don't know anymore lol I thought was ox calmac Nygren with touneki and Yang out wide further up and Tomas up top. Either way I don't think we have the legs for it for a full game.

With that selection today all I could figure was a 4 -1 - 4 - 1. MON must see the weakness and problem areas and it's as if he knows we will concede and tries to line-up to outscore opposition, However, we miss too many chances.

The fact we have a dozen or so he doesn't rate makes team selection and our chances of success very limited.

My theory is Nancy over trained the players, which has led to them being tired. Under Nancy you would often see the standard and energy drop in the second half. This coupled with the fact we had a tough game on Thursday. Which was why I wanted us not to qualify but what do I know.

Let's be realistic, we are going to get beaten by Rangers, Hearts and Motherwell. The team is awful and the football we are playing is so hard to watch. It would be a miracle if we were to win anything this season and MO is not going to be the answer.

Our recent record in Govan is also nothing to fill fans with confidence so we must hope Martin lifts the players for next Sunday, forget Stuttgart we have to play fringe players there

I am trying to be positive but it is HARD.

It must be nonsense if you say so i suppose but let's see where we are in 3 weeks time. I'll gladly admit I was wrong but let's wait and see. I'm not worried as I am already writing this season off. Rangers I believe will beat us twice at their place and Motherwell gave us a footballing lesson last time around and nothing has changed to make me think it won't happen again.

We will continue to drop points when we don't work the opposition keeper.

Biggest problem is that we don’t start games with enough tempo and then any setback leaves us chasing with too weak a squad to really change anything. We are a very fragile team, but keep hoping one good result can start a run… beginning next weekend.

Ed I love your opinions on here and respect the work you do, but at 50 years of age I can remember the old days pre fergus mccann and it was brutal. but on the here and now whilst I agree hearts and Rangers aren't much if better than us, but on Celtic my god the drop off in performances from the end of last season right through this one has been frightening. when I cast my mind back to brendan continually say we need quality over quantity ( and i'm not saying rodgers was completely blameless) i do wonder if he'd gotten the quality he desired that he could attract to Celtic if wed be in this situation. even oneil since coming in has said its about bringing in quality. something this current crop aren't showing.

whilst its still mathematically possible, I just cannot see this team going to Ibrox twice in 7 days and getting 1 win never mind 2.for me they lack the desire, fight everything needed to get the business done, we create very little chances, and the ones we do we barely take, you've the likes of tounetki who for me is better coming off the bench, when he starts he gives nothing, where's iheanacho? The new winger signed? And how Arthur hasn't been given a start over Trusty given his performances over the past few games is beyond me. I honestly hope your right and i'm 1 million % wrong, but i cannot help but fear the worst the way were playing right now. HH.

I'm just praying we win Sunday I think if we do then the league is still achievable. If we lose it then we have little to no hope. Get this Euro game and the sheep out rhe way and we have have midweeks to recover and get some proper training done to find some solutions.

Yes today was as this season has been a hard watch! Then I thought I'm a 59 year old man with a wife and 2 adult daughters a roof over my head and we're all healthy so really IAM blessed and very greatful. My point is this is football and won't determine my or my families life, I know we all want to complain and moan and its because we are passionate faithful supporters who love our team and love the highs and curse the disappointments but look around you and be greatful for what you have.

We will be great again, we will dominate again and for definite we will loose! Just don't let it get in the way, it's just a game! As my dad used to say. Keep the faith.

I go through the wringer with emotions when Celtic are playing and for that 90 minutes, it means everything.
Then, life takes over again.
It's natural to get upset when you see a thing you love being destroyed by others but it's football. We move on and hope things get better but the sad fact is, we are rank rotten and don't deserve to win anything this year.


Maybe that would be the wake up call to the muppets in the boardroom who are destroying all the good work that's been put in over the years. Hopefully we can then get a proper managerial system in with individuals who can identify a dud when he sees them and cart them off.
We need a complete rebuild this summer and it's going to have to be brutal.

Until the current board at Celtic is replaced OR until they totally change direction on what is taking place on AND off the park, we are unlikely to improve as a footballing team, infact, in real terms we will regress as the teams closest to us will likely get stronger.

Should we win our game in hand against Aberdeen we would go into 2nd place, 3 pts behind Hearts with the top 3 teams level on games played. Although I don't fancy our chances at all, stranger things have happened.

Personally, I'm more concerened for next season, the next 5 seasons and in general the future direction of Celtic Football Club.

The way our club is currently being run by DD and this board of muppets, the impact of this beyond May 2026.

I don't in any way blame management. he can only do what he can with the team. I don't even blame the players - they either wanted away or they just aren't good enough and should never have been signed tbh.
