Has McInnes stopped greeting yet. Every single interview that muppet conducts he is bumping his gums.
He's not singing now is he? 🤣.
24 May 2026 00:42:02
It gets better there fans are over moon they might be signing shankland on free, they love him cause he hit Celtic fan let's no kid our selfs, again loser mentality, but don’t let’s burst there bubble yet, just let Celtic do it again next year.
24 May 2026 10:09:00
Shankland was available on a free only one year ago but Sevco refused to go for him and then he signed a new 3 year deal with Hearts.
It would be typical Sevco to then go and splash out cash for Shankland now because I read Hearts want between £4M-£5M.
24 May 2026 12:10:22
I thought it was only a 1 year deal with the option of a further 2 years? So he would be available on a free transfer.
24 May 2026 12:34:41
Buzz I don't know if it's true but it's being reported that he had a release clause after year 1, if true what a shambles of a club! Just a wee thanks for all your brilliant stats really appreciate it. Ed also thanks for keeping us all up to date for the season and let the transfer speculation begin! Good luck ☘️.
{Ed007's Note - Cheers Jamie 🍀👍🏻

The conversation regarding the shortcomings of the board are for another day. today I was proud of Mon and the players. while everyone try’s to diminish the achievements of our great club we continue with our unparalleled success ( domestically)
And long may it continue and to the haters and there’s plenty if you can’t beat us at our weakest then good luck when we do get our house back in order.
23 May 2026 23:48:26
Martin’s win record in all competitions was exactly 80% and that includes our First European Away win in 4 years.
28 wins in 35 matches.
Brendan and Nancy combined win record was 42%.
10 wins from the other 24 games played this season.
23 May 2026 23:50:23
Plus Martin helped Celtic win in Germany for the first time.
24 May 2026 12:33:20
And that German team, Stuttgart, were in the German cup final.
23 May 2026 21:35:04
Fantastic end to season. Playing with a steely resilience to overcome adversity. Interesting to see how the transfers in/ out end up. Hopefully in a positive fashion. Shout out to Liam Scales.
I think he has been immense over the last few months. Still a young man and getting better. Being a Celtic fan is a bit of a roller coaster, but it is NEVER BORING. Always a HAIL HAIL.
23 May 2026 22:07:13
Good post Micky especially your comments on scales to which I agree with. As an online viewer he’s certainly the one most criticized. But at this point credit to all 🤗🇮🇪.
23 May 2026 23:45:07
He’s a lot better than trusty.
24 May 2026 07:20:46
Make no mistake if the board had continued with their illegitimate Green Brigade ban, or Maeda had continued under performing, we would have won nothing this season.
Both of the issues were a result of Desmond and the board. So while I am happy that we won a double, it was despite the board, not because of them. Now the season has concluded, it is time for us to turn our attention back on the board and get them out of our club.
24 May 2026 08:12:10
Was Scales playing, I thought we had turned back time and Maldini was playing for us 😁
There was one bit of playing where he was going backwards into his own left corner area and he chipped the ball over the winger and then dipped his shoulder and went past their midfielder. It was pure class.
Also he saved AJ's butt early on clearing the ball off the line.
Get CCV back or a new right sided cb and I think he will get back to his best.
Playing along side Trusty who is prone to a mistake or pulling the opposition onto us must be hard going and make you nervous a lot of the time.
24 May 2026 12:18:43
Wow WeeJoe it must be fun being in your head.
If the board get booted out (never going to happen) they have a place to stay rent free in your head.
Have a day off.
24 May 2026 14:06:18
A victory over Dunfermline and Scales is Maldini, joke or not the guy isn't good enough and never will be.
No doubt Engels, Maeda and Nygren will be sold.
Many more will leave, lot of mediocre players with extensions agreed. I worry already for next season.
I feel we need at least
A new no 1 GK
2 first team starter Centre Backs
Better calibre RB as back up
Saracchi signed
A physical athletic defensive midfielder
A creative attacking midfielder
If we insist on wingers 2 first team ready players with Jota and Yang as back up
First team starter striker.
24 May 2026 14:19:39
Can’t afford a day off, these dinosaurs needed gone a long time ago. Every day they are in place is a day wasted on our future.
24 May 2026 14:29:17
@greentree - can't debate so you attack the man instead. Sign of someone who can't win the argument.
23 May 2026 20:24:36
Thank You DAIZEN
If you go you will be missed, but your last 10 games have added £10m on to your value HH.
23 May 2026 21:00:23
So we should get 10mil for him then?
23 May 2026 21:22:05
Not so long ago I got so much abuse here on this platform arguing his potential. Even Ed too, off form was my point but the opponent was arguing was he wanting away to greener fields.
Anyhow what a player, and thank hevens he stayed despite the criticism he got.
Slan mo Chara, you’ve been a fabulous servant and you’ll definitely be remembered as a Celtic legend 👏🏆🤗🙄.
24 May 2026 07:29:31
Maeda has been honking for most of this season and I personally stand by the fact that he should have been sold last summer and it was a dereliction of duty, that he was kept and a suitable replacement not found.
There are many reasons we underperformed this season, most of them were in our control. The lack of two top strikers played a large part in our demise. So while I agree that Maeda hitting a purple patch helped us salvage the double, we should never have been in that position in the first place.
24 May 2026 08:34:24
Tbh honest getting Maeda back on form, and having Engels and AJ back have made a huge difference.
Engels does so much that nobody talks about, nothing fancy, just grinding in midfield, winning the ball, breaking down attacks. He had a great game yesterday.
Nygren looked quality yesterday.
Do you guys think Iheanacho or the Ox should get a new contract?
What about MON as our next Manager?
If fit would Kelechi be a great signing and can we get him fit.
He lacks fitness and pace. He was through on goal yesterday and clear by 3 or 4 yards but the defender managed to pull him back and make a tackle. He looked quite ponderous.
I am not sure at this point.
The Ox hadn't played for a year so was not going to be match fit. Will a close season be enough to get his up to speed or has father time caught up with him.
At this point in time its a no for me on the Ox.
On MON, he has been awesome, a god send at a time we needed one.
If he wants to stay do you think DD and the board will support that and would they support him properly in the transfer market.
I have mixed emotions. He has cemented his legendary status and I don't want him to do anything to tarnish that.
Is being a man Manager enough in today's game moving forward.
23 May 2026 19:34:44
When I was a kid I loved the Scottish Cup ties, much more exciting than the League (in my young eyes) . That is Celtic's 28th Scottish Cup victory in my lifetime and I still love every minute.
Today was the perfect happy ending to a nail biting shredded nerves season. Amazing how Celtic can lift your spirits, put a spring in your step, and a big smile on your face.
24 May 2026 07:30:45
This isn't over, it was merely put on ice until the season concluded. We now have a bigger fight on our hands and that is to remove the Desmond's.
23 May 2026 18:23:28
The Sun always shines on Celtic when it’s time for our fans to celebrate.
The commentator mentioned Celtic had been involved in all 4 comeback finals in the last 37 finals.
Celtic were also involved in comeback victories in 1988 and 1985 against Dundee United before that.
The last comeback victory not including Celtic would be 1982 when Aberdeen beat Rangers 4-1 AET after losing the opener.
I couldn’t understand why Sinisalo was getting the blame for the early Dunfermline chance because it was 100% Johnston’s fault.
24 May 2026 06:54:50
And a famous swmi against the wee buns.
23 May 2026 18:18:15
Any news from the showers? 🫣.
23 May 2026 19:01:48
Lennys still there and they've turned the hot water off.
23 May 2026 17:41:34
Thought nygren midfield play was brilliant today, I have been one saying apart from his goals offered nothing but today he's played with link up etc. Engels has to stay build team around always said this so 1 out of 2 ain't bad 🤣🤣 well 3 because said was done with football.
23 May 2026 18:27:08
Nygren and Engels were immense but so was Scales.
I thought the team played within themselves.
Another double HH.
23 May 2026 20:59:15
It was against Dunfermline 🤦🏻♂️ Nygren is non existent.
24 May 2026 19:01:12
John, a team that beat 3 premier league teams that we struggled against this season.
23 May 2026 16:58:32
Another season done and dusted, wasn't our best but definitely one of oir sweetest titles.
Thank you for all the hard work again 007.
{Ed007's Note - Cheers Kev 👍🍀
23 May 2026 18:28:14
Ed, get your head down and have a rest. Pre season will be upon us soon 😁
Great job again. 👍.
{Ed007's Note - Thanks MIP mate 🍀👍
23 May 2026 18:38:45
Martin was in charge of 29 Domestic games this season and his record was -
Won 25 Drawn 2 and Lost only 2.
Which included 9 domestic victories in a row since April after the last International break.
23 May 2026 21:15:13
It’s only 26 Days until the new fixture list is announced 😂.
23 May 2026 23:37:42
Ed doesn't get a rest, coming upto his favourite time, transfer rumour time. 🤣🤣🤣
Not just player rumours, manager ones to boot and a world Cup.
{Ed007's Note - There's no rest for the wicked... 😂😂

Reasonably comfortable so far but as I have said many times, Trusty is a nightmare, he causes most of the pressure we bring on ourselves.
23 May 2026 18:13:22
He’s our BERT KONTERMAN! Really needs to be punted.
23 May 2026 18:17:27
Trusty has had a poor month but he’s had a good season overall.
He’s much better and more comfortable in his natural left side.
23 May 2026 20:34:42
IMO he cannot handle a physical number 9 whatsoever and needs punted. as well as all the loans (sciracci) excepted looks like Maeda, Hatate, Bernardo will go. don’t rate tounetki or balikwisha either so major reconstruction of team needed. maeda (when interested) is a massive massive loss)
24 May 2026 11:28:45
Certainly keep Scales before Trusty but we need CCV back to his best and I'm not sure if he ever will be, so another RCB required.
{Ed007's Note - CCVs best was never good enough imo, we certainly need better than him for Europe.
