Rumours today that Hatate could be sold in summer and that possible replacement would be the Motherwell lad Lennon Miller
I would not be against this as I think Hatate has been hyped up to better than he actually is for us.
If we get £10 for the Japanese player and buy Miller even for £5m we would be getting a younger fitter player who knows our League and we still make a profit.

Lennon Miller wouldn’t get near our midfield imho
If we want to progress we need to be buying players that are better than our current players al la Arne.
That goes for CD Striker winger and full back especially CD.
That said it’s not easy, I liked the look of the Brugge CB last night popped online to see he is valued at 40 mil, he’s 20 yo.
{Ed007's Note - It wasn't too long ago that people were saying Engels was a waste of money. Lennon Miller is the best young Scottish midfielder since Lewis Ferguson and that was a major mistake letting him slip through the net.
If we do buy Lennon Miller I guarantee that under Rodgers he will be one of the best players in the country within the next 2 years.}

I have been massively impressed with Engles over the last couple of months. Was probably judging him too harshly and was massively frustrated with him but what a turnaround I can now see in him. Mostly down to the lad himself, but with a good bit of credit to Brendan and the staff. Miller is a top player within the league barring ourselves. If he was to come he will be giving the time and assistance to progress as has Engles, Yang, khun etc etc under the management, sure look at Jota back smiling.

Miller should be getting earmarked as mcgregors long term successor. Even if he's not ready just yet, how do we know until we see him.
Even if we do bring him in i think we still could do with another CM to replace hatate/ bernardo. I expect hatate will likely move on which i would be happy with. Far too inconsistent for me.

I am not against Miller but I would prefer a big no nonsense Defensive midfielder and a Striker come in IF we can keep the rest of our Squad together. I would be happy with that.

I would really like to see Bernardo getting a run out in the "McGregor" role when he is fit.
I think the boy is a huge and don't want to see him getting disillusioned if he isn't getting game time.
I still agreed that we should sign Miller as I can see Hatate going in the Summer and we need to start scaling McGregor's game time back a bit.

Lennon Miller is starting to become a must buy for me (I'm still gutted we never signed John McGinn) .
He ticks a lot of boxes and, as Ed mentioned, under BR and staff he could improve immensely.

I agree Miller was good when he played against us, he has ability and under Rodgers would learn plenty, however I think he will go abroad for slightly more money than we will offer, wouldn't surprise me if he becomes Lewis Ferguson replacement when if he gets his move to one of the top Serie A clubs.
