Watched Ipswich game to see how maeda got on, think he touched the ball about 5 times, the game was awful as was the atmosphere and although they won they'll be fighting relegation, heard engles had a shocker as well, the grass ain't always greener but the money is.

I think it might be fair to say, one of the most successful players to leave us in recent times might be Kristopfer Ejer. He is still playing regularly at Bournemouth and played very well yesterday.

MIP its Brentford. he's done ok since he's left us. Ryan Christie is at Bournemouth and has also done well with them.
To be fair 9 out of 10 that leave us with big plans find out very soon that the grass isn't greener.
Not many go on and are able to say they had a successful career after leaving us.
It all comes down to money most of the time. Rarely ambition.

Ajer is still at Brentford?
Think Van Dijk is the most successful to leave.
In terms of potential Doak will do well.
In addition I think Ryan Christie has established himself as one of the most consistent midfielders in the premier league, though I don’t think he could have played for a top 4 or 5 club, he certainly was one of the most surprising in terms of progress made after leaving us.
Out of our current players I think Nygren has levels to beyond all of them, also think Engels will go to a big European Club top end club in the next season or so, it may be he wanted to acclimatise to the pace of English Football and the amount of games a top team who play latter end of European Competition, think he would fit in to an Arsenal team very well.

BR got the best out of him and we made great money but he hasn't been able to make his mark at Como.
It seems application is a problem for him and BR was able to get him to get his head down and work.

Engles for me has great potential but I think is a little bit lazy when it's not going his way. His last game for us I think was his best just a pity he never gave that amount of commitment every time.
I wish him well in his career I really do just hope he can get his act together. But I wouldn't say I was upset about him leaving and what a steal for Celtic the price we got for him.
