How many games a season is he 'on it'? They used to say Tom Rogic was a luxury player, but he excelled in big games. Nothing to do with last nights red card as that could happen to any player. IMO Hatate does not show his class and attitude often enough for me,

Hatate is a very good player. One of the best in Scotland. Posters on this site continually slag him off, along with Maeda, KT, Scales, Trusty, CM, KS, Engels etc etc. do people on this site like any of our players? Serious question - do you think any of the current team is ‘Celtic class’?

Dont need the hate but hatate is probably the most talented on his day brilliant inconsistent average crap player I've seen rolled into one man. so frustrating.

Yeah that’s Hatates’s problem. He thinks he is one of the best players in Scotland. One of my favourite signings from Asia when he arrived but honestly he doesn’t deserve a shirt based on his utter inconsistency.
At one point he was our next £20M+ sell on player. Now? I’m not sure we would get 25% of that now. Such a waste and hasn’t progressed in at least 18months.

Thats the strange thing about this board, the likes of hetate and maeda, regardless of value to the team, should be punted when their value is high, its the entire reason players come to us, but the profit needs reinvested into the squad, not shared out as dividends.

First season under AP, Hatate looked very good. After that, he's been somewhere between inconsistent and uninterested.
Regardless of who our manager is next season, I expect Hatate to be sold and if we've only got 3 midfielders on the pitch I'd prefer them all to be fighting for the cause.

Hatate is an exceptional player. His form for over a year has been woeful. If he is on it, we move up a level. If he isnt, he's is not only an empty jersey, he causes endless trouble with loosing the ball and terrible passing.
He needs to find form. At his best, he can help us win this league. Or, he sits on the bench. No inbeteeen. We can't carry anyone. Perform or get peeling the oranges.
