I feel the focus should be on the board not the manager.
What is the point t in sacking the manager if we are going to have the same incompetent board appointing the next manager.

There is nobody to remove the board unless someone buys DD shares! They are not going away, 1994 was different as the club was broke.

I am not saying Nancy should not be sacked. I am merely pointing out that it has to happen in order. Board out first, then appoint a new manager. Otherwise we will have the same incompetent board hiring our next manager.

Mark my words, if they sack Nancy now and get someone else in, we will still be pish as the issues causing this will still be there. There is a slight chance Martin O'Neil could steady the ship but even that is not a certainty as the board have caused a bad situation to get worse.

Given the treatment (some of it justified ) our current Board are getting I'm not so sure people of the calibre you mention will be lining up in droves to replace them.
{Ed007's Note - I'm not qualified to recruit people at board level of a PLC but what about Haughey as Chairman, Susan Whelan as CEO, MON and a fan elected representative like JP Taylor as NEDs...
What about you, who would you suggest, anyone you know (got any names?) that would turn it down because of the treatment they'd get in running a multi-million £ PLC and getting decent dollar for doing it?}

Ed007 why do you and all the fans that think they can do better as a business owner, a board member, a manager, a trainer, a footballer all dig deep and buy the club? Or start your own club, by the standards expected on here you will win the champions league in less than 2 years.
