Question who put Nancy's name to the Celtic board? I am still in the opinion that he might come good IF backed by the board I really don't believe he will be. So why put someone's name to the board for a manager that it's so clear we don't have most of if any players that can or will play that system? No way will Celtic bring in at least 6 first team players this winter window it seems really bad board management and who ever put Nancy's name in for the board to consider should be booted out the door.

Nicholson said they had been tracking him for a while and that he was the outstanding candidate.
We were also told that it is Desmond that conducts the managerial interviews and only once he is satisfied does Nicholson get involved to do the contracts and negotiations.

It's been suggested Tony that Tisdale worked with one of Nancy's coaches at Exeter City, some years ago.
Therefore the presumption is that Tisdale recommended Nancy to the board/ DD. Someone with Tisdale's CV should be nowhere near Celtic Park let alone playing the role of 'king maker'/ player recruitment.
My fear is that we'll have dropped too many points by the time the January window closes for any players signed to make a positive impact in the current league campaign.
I hope I'm wrong.

I do believe that he is a good manager But looking at the squad he has inherited you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear . Maybe he has been arrogant thinking he can turn it around. But he will need a lot of backing at the winter window and I really don't think he will get it.

What makes you say he is a good manager tony?
Is it his naivety in implementing a new formation when the players confidence is at rock bottom, he has little time to coach it on the training field and we don't have the players to play it?
Is it his non coherent press conferences were he exhibits how much he does not understand the job?
Was it his inability to make a substitution?
Or was it watching him crumble under the pressure as he stood on the sidelines flapping his arms about in a blind panic?

The squad is by far the best in the country, MON could get a tune out of them so why can't Nancy or Rodgers before him? Because they are poor managers!

Butland, Mitov and the st mirren keeper all better than Schmeichel. Motherwell, hertz and st mirren have better forwards than us. Bowie at hibs is probably a better striker than what we have. Bhoy88, shall I go on. Our squad is not the best in the country by far. Its possibly the best when everyone is fit and playing well but even then with a back 3 does CCV play well in a back 3? Does AJ? Where the fck is Jota going to play? This is a monumental shambles and will take at least 4 windows to get right.
Unless we get a takeover and some proper people come in knowing how to run a club. Other than that we are goosed.
