Just read that Tim, can't understand the decision to give Nancy the reigns in such an important 7 days, surely it would've made sense to give him the job today after Hearts and the Cup final was out the way?

I read the first point Tim but not the second.
MON apparently said he had 15 mins with Nancy after the Dundee game, and that it was obvious to him that the new manager had a clear idea about the players/ how he wanted to play.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and like many, based mainly on timing, as well as the importance of two out of the three matches, namely Hearts and LC Final, had MON been in charge I'd have seen us taking at least a point and lifting the cup.
The BOARD who appointed this novice, took the gamble and it's been a disaster, no more no less. If they haven't already, after 3 embarrassing defeats on the bounce, I can see the dressing turning against him and then the writing is then well and truly on the wall.

Like many of us, I've witnessed bad times. What makes this different is from a position of strength, the leaders of our club have screwed us. Almost willful self sabotage. There ain't no financial Knights on shining armour coming over the hill for us. We're stuck with the leaders we have with the odd tinkering here and there.
So recognising the question I'm about to ask is a stocking plaster solution, a symptom of our malaise, if things haven't improved on the pitch by the end of the Derby game, do we pull the plug on this guy at that point?
