'67 Hail Hail' have an article stating that Motherwell want 6M Euros (£5.2M) for young Lennon Miller.
They suggest teams in Italy are 'fighting' over his signature since Bologna showed an interest.
IMO, he should have been signed by Celtic the moment this transfer window opened.
I was going to finish by saying it could still yet happen, but given we've spent £3.2M on 7 players to date, there's as much chance of jumping oot the windae and going up the way. ?

Or he has told his agent he wants to play in Italy or France and is happy to knock back staying in Scotland.
Why the presumption he is open to a move to us AND why the belief Rodgers wants him?

He was never going to stay here, why would he?
Anyone would rather ply their trade in Italy, France or Germany than the SPL if they had the chance.

the player could well have told his agent of his country/ league of preference, prior to any potential move being discussed.
I never presumed he is, or, is not open to a move to Celtic. Perhaps sitting down and listening to what Celtic had to offer would give the player something to consider in terms of personal growth, on field success, CL football, future captain etc ?
Lastly, why would Brendan Rogers not want to sign the best Scottish player in the league under the age of what, 23?
Captain of his team at 18, already an international and a natural replacement for our current captain, do you remember what happened with John McGinn?

Pedro, I'm not debating that, I agree with you, we should be trying to buy the best of Scottish, and 100% agree with you, Miller could go on to be an awesome player.
I'm just pointing out that it looks like he just isn't interested in us, or, he is holding out to the end of the window to see what is the best deal.
He may well end up at us still, if nothing comes in from European clubs, but he knows we are the fall back position. He can always pick us if he needs to. It's the same as McGinn, he held out and he chose villa over us.
I'm just sayin because a player is Scottish or Irish even, doesn't mean they would want us, as much as it's a no brainer for us fans.

He doesn't want to be with us. And never did. Gave up any notion we could get him weeks ago. We have more pressing issues to fix.
