I don't know about you Bhoys but I don't think the board trusts Brendan in the transfer market. It can only be the reason they are taken so long. This squad is a shambles. It needs reinforcing all over the place. After 2 seasons in charge surely it should b about fine tuning the squad. Brining in more quality to add to the quality we all ready have. There's something not right somewhere. Hail hail.

Going off rodgers comments after the ajax match, was like a subtle dig at the board about ambition.
I don't think its a case of not trusting rodgers but something isn't right.
I am seeing similarities with 2 seasons ago where we went for quantity over quality and it turned out to be an absolute disaster.
I don't know how many windows they need to sort out a quality cb.
Also its looking like we are going to have 5 CFs by the end of the window with 1 spot to play for. Why on earth can they not just sign a quality proven goalscorer.
Im not convinced rodgers has much say on what's coming in at all.
We better get it right by the end of the window because with that other outfit spending money it will be unthinkable and unforgivable if they win the league and walk straight into the CL next season. I hope they realise the importance of backing rodgers and the possible consequences if they dont.

Hail Hail, it’s nothing to do with trust, they just don’t like spending money and it will cost them a top level manager and £40m in lost CL revenue if they are not careful, Lawwell’s wait and see transfer policy has cost Celtic over £100m in lost revenue and we are weaker than we were last season and will struggle to qualify against a good quality team as it stands then Brendan will probably go and no one can blame him if he does, he has won countless trophies and done his best with limited funds, the clock is ticking .

Don't know why they wouldn't trust rodgers. He isn't the one that identifies players.

Maybe they aren't fully backing him as he's not signed a new contract and think he'll be away next summer. So probably don't want to blow a load of money on BR signings that may not fit the new managers style next season?

Not only have we sat and watched this movie before, but we could be watching it happen to the same manager - TWICE .
BR has said all he needs to say, if he doesn't get backed with quality players now, in this current window, he'll be away before the bells.

I don't trust Rogers signing ability. Never mind the board. Hopefully the recruitment team do their job and we don't need Rogers to do anything but say, OK.

BR is a brilliant coach& improves players he coaches .
I think BR knows Board doesn’t trust his signing ability as he knew all about Board from his first stint with Celtic, yet he didn’t get a clause in his contract that he had to have final say on all signings . This he announced a year later.
