If we were a properly run club then bids for players like Maeda, Hatate, Bernardo and the like would be accepted with replacements either already signed or lined up. We're not hence why we have players underperforming, not happy and deminishing in value.
Even the Engles bid would be tempting if we had some form of scouting in place and a few options to fill the void, but we don't. Club needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom.

That is just one of the failings of our inefficient, incompetent Board. The players you mentioned have contributed next to nothing for several months and everyone would benefit from a change.

Why would you sell a full Belgian international for 17million also he is only 22. I would be looking for 25-30 plus sell on clause . Maybe that's why I ain't a manager lol.

100% and this is the one of the key failings of this board in the way they 'run' the footballing side of the club, as well as being a huge frustration to the supporters.
If there was a proper footballing structure in place, players like Maeda and Hatate, who look sometimes like they'd be happier anywhere but CP, would be sold.
I truly hope this side of things can be sorted out, if MN and his colleagues are struggling with this, I'm sure there's plenty of supporters that could help.

It's a fair point Marco, whilst every player has his price and our board love money, I'd hope we hold onto him especially given we don't have a replacement and with a World Cup coming up.

I would not be surprised if Celtic Directors sold Engels if Nottingham Forest offer £20 million pounds or more.
