As bad as it is that we have yet to sign anyone out with araujo, i'm actually glad we haven't signed any of the names mentioned.
The players linked are the biggest pile of pish i have seen since the last window.
Not one of them fills me with confidence and everyone of them seem like recommendations from that numpty tisdale.
Im hoping we haven't signed any of them because oneill has refused them because he knows they are guff.

Kovanic and Ilic to b fair a wouldn't mind but apart from obvious forward positions mentioned av not heard 1 name linking us with a RCB.

Troy both are average to poor goalscorers. its the position needing most attention imo. we need someone proven with good avgs.

I think the players 'recommended' to MON when he arrived back at the club following Nancy's departure, were Tisdale players.
I may be wrong but that slate appears to have been wiped clean, and SM and MF have had to start from scratch and been tasked with getting solid player suggestions who fit MON's remit.
Troy, I think the players you mention are nothing to do with Tisdale.

Kovancics has 23 goals this season, that isn't too shabby. He's top scorer in Conference league, so isn't a numpty.

Maybe him and then Wilson on a short term deal until the summer. Feel we need 2 strikers to give options or possibly play a 352.

Kenny was top scorer in conference league when we ended his loan last season I think. He has bags of potential and should be out on loan again if we sign a striker.

I think he would be a good signing but until I see a Celtic top on or a scarf above his head I won't get excited about any players mentioned I just hope we bring in good quality players in soon.

Mip re kovacevic Was going on career avg . this is his best season in career and only scored above 10 one other time . one off? Turned a corner? Right club at right time? still 1 in every 3.3.not great stats . big gamble imo.

For those suggesting Kovacevic is a one season wonder, so was Giakoumakis before he came to us. For what it’s worth I don’t think it will be any the strikers we have seen mentioned this window, i still think Dykes will be on his way and wouldn’t surprise me if MON goes all in on Shankland with hidden motive outwith just goals for Celtic.

Maurice Johnstone was pictured with a scarf above his head on the back pages of the red tops. Look where he ended up. Don't count on anything till the deal is signed mate.
