As was discussed on the Live Podcast last evening, Nancy is only one of the problems at this moment in time.
The arrogant, dismissive barstewards, commonly known as the Celtic board, 'searched' for and then appointed this guy and will no doubt, as they did with BR, will lay the blame for this shambles of a season, that is unfolding in front of our very eyes, at Nancy's door. Guaranteed.
Only then, when it's too late, will they pull the trigger on Nancy's short tenure as manager and we'll be back to square one, looking for the next victim to take over a squad of mainly disillusioned or just plain poor footballers, who by that time, will have thrown in the towel and downed tools.
This is neglect, corporate incompetence and the managed decline of a football club, unlike anything I have seen in 30+ years and not enough supporters are talking about it.
Meanwhile, as JFP said on the podcast last evening, referencing Desmond Jnr at the AGM;- this is as good as it gets, so buy you season ticket, sit down and shut up.

Season ticket renewal time will be very interesting.
I really hope the collective can organise the option for fans to pledge their ticket renewals so that they have leverage with the club to force change. ?.

We just need a manager who plays a proper football formation i. e MON. Too many modern football managers over complicate a really simple game.

I know I'm an old record. But what will force change is a ban on ST purchases. And when folk, like me, get offered a ST to plug the gap, tell them Tae get Tae.

I'll certainly not be giving up my ST as it took me years to get my own as I previously shared one with family.

this is the dilemma, as it will be with so many supporters across Scotland, Ireland, England etc
The board are no doubt confident that regardless of their actions, and let's be crystal clear here, this has been a managed decline of Celtic Football Club by this current board, that they will never be hit in the pocket re ST renewals.
Just like they're confident the ordinary punter is happy, sorry grateful, that Celtic remain one step ahead of SEVCO because that's yer lot.
Peter Lawell has lost any respect he once had by addressing adult shareholders like children at the AGM, a few weeks ago.
Baby Desmond, went even further. The arrogance and stupidly of that man child, to read the manifesto of the toffs on the board to the assembled shareholders, penned by big daddy and majority shareholder DD, was outrageous and the most disgraceful act to date.
Through it all, the CEO, DD's pet puppet, Nicholson sat and said fu*k all. The CEO btw, is supposed to be running the show but for those in any doubt of Nicholsons place, it's clearly well down the pecking order, but picking up £800K per year means he doesn't need dignity, pride or just acting like a decent human being, as all that can take a back seat to being a individual who's clearly the CEO in name only.
Everybody knows who pulls the strings st Celtic Park but DD and Lawell won't be around forever, and if baby Desmond thinks this ridiculous scenario will go away anytime soon, he can add delusional to his list of unpalatable characteristics.
Personally I fear the only way real change at board level will take place is if a consortium/ individual comes in and buys up more than the 34% of shares that DD currently has.
In the meantime if supporters do see fit to take action that hits the club in the pocket, perhaps dialogue may start to take place.
In the meantime it's sit down, give us your money and shut up.

Vosabhoy, I respect your opinion so to all in that camp, it's Put up and Shut up. We'll be trapped in the managed decline a few of us have alluded to if we buy STs.

Nothing will change at board level unless members of the board resign. This isn't the 90's when Celtic were one step from bankruptcy. The club have never been more financially sound and this, unfortunately, will keep this board in power. I can't see enough supporters cancelling season tickets that would make this board make concessions and rem there is a reported 10k waiting list.

No idea and I'm not even convinced there is a 10k waiting list just what I've heard here and there.
{Ed007's Note - We fill the stadium for CL games, Glasgow Derbies, the league winning day (if we win) and maybe on flag day... and people want to extend the stadium? 9999 of that waiting list would be the same tourists, taking pics for social media and expecting the GB to provide the atmosphere for their entertainment on their wee day out.}

Quite agree with you Ed regarding stadium expansion. Absolutely no need for it. As I said I'm. not even convinced there is such a waiting list.
