Really excited to watch our team evolve over the next few weeks, the team are buying into Nancy's approach on the training pitch. I think we will see some really good football, results will come, the fans must get behind him and the team, after the behaviour of some our fans in recent months it's time to reset, back the team. If certain fans fall into line the board will spend money. If not they will keep the purse closed, no amount of terrace protests will change it. Said it before, affect the match day turnover you affect the board, red cards, chanting, Tifo's, acting like petulant entitled children ain't going to get you nowhere.
Roll on 6 weeks from now when certain fans are going to look like tools.

Defo Aldo, good or bad manager aside, I think as we have a talented pool of players new structure training coaching will benifit us and them, some quality additions and you never know how team could develop, some players shouldn't be starters and some starters aren't being pushed, some quality additions could be a real positive all round - those additions need to happen tho.

@Aldobhoy so if fans can't protest the board then I take you mean, we have to just put up with the board and their nonsense.
{Ed007's Note - That's it for so many ofthe short sighted happy clapping section of the support Marco, as long as Celtic are winning and staying just in front of TRIFC everything in their garden is rosy. There used to loads of them at Man Utd who refused to see Fergie was the glue holding everything together there, same at Ibrox who thought Rangers were too big to go bust, look at the state of Barcelona because of the way it's ran. They remind me of the very few Celtic fans that backed the Whites and Kelly's, our very own version of "staunchness".
We're witnessing the managed decline of Celtic and there are actually clowns in our support who expect us not only to just accept it but they think we should applaud and celebrate the downsizing & penny pinching.

Fire in the hole! ??.

Are you implying that the board are that petty that they would only buy players if the fans do what they want and stop voicing their displeasure?
The problem with that would be that they are setting their new appointment up for failure and more fans turning against them if they don't invest in January.
{Ed007's Note - It's 3 weeks until the transfer window opens and our Head of Scouting has bolted to Swansea. I'm sure the arrival of Christian Benteke in January will have the support cock-a-hoop with excitement.

Strikes me that the former Board apologists are now 'Nancy Bhoys'.

Sorry Aldo but your statement there is embarrassing. You may or may not be right but claiming certain fans are going to look like tools is pathetic. I am one of those fans and unless that board including DD are removed there are only one type of fan that's going to be made look like a tool and its your kind.

100% agree ED . We should not accept mediocre board performances. We need a board who are going to strive to have the best Celtic can be. I am not got one instance suggesting we do it to the determint of the club. But we can invest in yhe team better and invest in the scouting network better and actually move with the times.
Look at club Brugge they have less revenue than us but can sign better players and move them on got better fees than we can .

Protests are a must and showing supported at a level can't now stop, it's where people's idea of an outcome sit that concerns me, I agree with collective, but I'm quite some way from demanding full dd removal etc,
{Ed007's Note - Removing DD is unrealistic imo, Jaa but we can try and force change with the way the Club is ran and the people running it. Time and time again they have shown how incompetent and out of touch with the modern game they are, there is a staleness surrounding the Club and that's starting at the very top and flowing down.

You sound like the Desmond's by pointing the finger at the fans for daring to demonstrate against a board that is not fit for purpose and failing to acknowledge the harm the board are causing.
As I pointed out below in another post, there is no reconciliation after Ross Desmond's angry tirade against the fans. That tirade has done more to unite the fans against the board than a million pounds advertising campaign could have. It is a turning point in relations between the fans and the board. There is no alternative but for the board to leave now, as the animosity towards them is here for good.
