Do we owe DD some kudos for taking decisive action when it was clearly necessary ie BR out and MON in?
I think we do.

Celtic released a statement to say that Brendan resigned although it looks like he was given a massive push.

Hats off to DD for getting of a wee naff of a manager that was creating a toxic atmosphere within the club!

No as it was a fluke and showed that there was no succession plan in place despite them knowing Rodgers would be getting punted.
His statement showed a clear lack of professionalism and was laughable for him to think we are that gullible to believe that everything was Rodgers fault and they themselves were blameless.
As I have said many times, his time is up and he can take his board with him.
Don't think a couple of results makes us forget their omnishambles of a summer window, not to mention the ones before it.

BR deserves a huge amount of respect and credit for his trophy haul as our manager, twice.
However his personality and his dogged way of continuing to use a style of play that had been sussed and other better managers have ditched was his undoing.
Re his substantive replacement, I reckon more than 50% of the names being floated aren't even on the Boards radar.
And don't start me on ex hun players making suggestions! - ignore at all costs. I will state my preference when the real runners and riders are clear. ?.
