Just for a laugh, I've picked a team full of players who I thought were ineffective, x***, however you want to describe them for us over the years. Some of these names will be before your time so you'll need to take my word for it.
GK: Douglas/ Barkas (Douglas for the EUEFA cup final plus he sold the jerseys in more than one OF game) .
LB: Joe Filippi
RB: Alan Sneddon
CBs: Schiedt (Brazilian dude)
Pat McCluskey
Midfield: Tommy Callaghan
Dom Sullivan
Martin Hayes
Strikers: Joe Miller (yes I know he won the 1989 cup final for us)
Alan McInally
Tony Cascarino
I know I'll have missed some humdingers and I look forward to seeing their names.

I actually liked big Tid Callaghan, but he was unpredictable and a bit of a scapegoat like big Yogi Hughes, when we struggled.
I would add :- Wayne Biggins, Du Wei, Jimmy Bone, Stuart Slater, Amido Balde, Brian Whittaker and possibly David Hannah who was the only sub I ever saw being subbed.

We sold Charlie Nicholas ( Arsenal) and George McCluskey to ( Leeds) and replaced them with Jim Melrose and John Colqhoun OMG.
{Ed007's Note - Wasn't McClair signed as Nicholas replacement? Was Nicholas not the last player sold by Billy McNeill in his first stint and McClair was the last signed and then he never played a game under McNeill?

Barkas hands down is the worst GK I've ever seen! Duffy and Ambrose have to be in the convo for the worst CB's.

Jim Melrose was a big bluenose and he was brutal.
I remember Billy McNeill taking off substitute Joe Miller and he was raging in our 1-0 league cup Semi final defeat to Aberdeen at Hampden.

Ambrose could give anyone the fear. But, correct me if I’m wrong, but did he not also play in that game against Barca. One of the best nights ever.
