Does anyone else think that Rodgers is off after this season, and this is why the board are not sanctioning any large layouts on players and keeping their cash and powder dry for next season. I maybe talking garbage but just a feeling.

Because we are 7 days into the international transfer window and 4 weeks away from the start of the season and we have broken our transfer record yet?

That makes so much sense if your onion. Our club is well run and as fans we all have our opinions and wishes when it comes to transfers. However that has to be one of the most ridiculous reasons for justification of feelings in relation to transfers.

It certainly be no surprise to me if BR leaves after this year . I think it is in the best interest of everyone at Celtic fans, players and Manager . BR at the end of this season will have managed us superbly for 3 years, on top of 2.5 years in previous stint . Most successful Managers only last for about 3 years before moving to new challenge. Players can become complacent if the same person manages them . Opponents may adopt to a successful manager’s system . We have been very lucky to have BR for so long and he has been mainly responsible for our outstanding success.
I don’t think this has or will have any effect on the amount we spend on transfers this window . First of all we need to win SPL to create easier route to CL which must be important to Board .
BR has approved signings which seem to be more likely to help team more in the future, than this season . Why would he that if he was for off .

I think BR will leave at the end of the season, win or lose. The high expectations and sheer intensity of the demands placed on a Celtic manager are such that it's maybe in his best interests to seek pastures new. I have total respect for the guy.
