Wee Dessie is that you Peter?

Its early days but the board have previous and we've had aiples aff their cairt afore. I don't think the Japanese defender is a Rodgers signing. The wee forward from Fulham hasn't played a senior game of football and he's 20. Rodgers won't be here past his 3 years. Across the water only need to be better than the rest they were more than a match for us last season. I hope I'm proved wrong but I've got asleep at the wheel vibes dejavu. If the board are offered north of £20m for Maeda they'll punt him to. Feckn hate been told trust the process. There is no proces they're winging it and we've a qualifier to play. Not a businesses man among the middle feckn managers.

Lagerbeilke away for £2m bought for £4.5. Nawrokki still hanging about. Trusty is pi$h. Scales is the best of the rest but has limitations. CCV has another sick note and we're buying a Japanese apprentice centre feckn half project.?

A don’t think there will be any players brought in without BR say so. For me at least 1 Cb (?‍♂️) Lennon Miller and Bali and the Japanese boy for cover for lb/ cb.

Hi all

Rodgers absolutely has control of signings or he wouldn't be here in first place.

We paid £3m for Lagerbeilke, but don't let the fact gets in the way of a good moan.

With the success on the park and business over the past 20+ years, I dunno how anyone can say we asleep at the wheel.

Wait until the window closes. Same message every year in here.

Just for info, cos playing unhappy fan bingo in here, PL isn't pulling strings and McGinn CHOSE villa over us plain and simple.

How many accounts have you got Peter?

If we get offered north of £15m for Maeda we should take it!

There are plenty players available at fair prices for our model, khun is an example of good business, got to bring a few more in obviously, the players who have been here a while like CCV, Hetate and Maeda won't stick around forever and we need adequate players in the building to compete for places and and move along those who don't want to be here or want a different adventure.
The hype of the cost of signings should never be a key factor, it's getting the right players through the door.
Managers absolutely have no authority in the purchase of players, they could be out the door at any moment, my employer provides me the tools to do my job, I have no say in what they provide, I can only suggest, it's the same at a club.
Rodgers has a huge study of the game, he would certainly give options to the board but I think most of the time a scouting network will provide analysis, he will be privy to the information, might even give his opinion, but there is no way he has a final say every time.
If:-
Lagerbielke
Trusty
Nawrocki
Welsh
Kwon
Khun
Yang
Tillio
Palmer
Kenny
Are all surplus to requirements then I expect a very busy transfer window.
The only thing that slows the process for me is the qualification of champions league, we would all want players in to give us the best chance of qualifying for the tournament, however the board are very risk overt when it comes to this little obstacle as it's a huge financial gamble.

For those positions needing replaced, albeit Nygren being Khuns direct replacement, who would you like in to replace any of the above? Try give your own opinion rather than the resurfacing rumours of the same players?

Finally one question maybe for Ed or anyone with extensive knowledge, our previous 4 seasons, have the players purchased have any pattern in terms of bought from the same agents? Sometimes i feel like we are offered players via these avenues rather than our scouting network, however I'm only guessing so maybe someone can answer that.

We have a history of complacency and not building from strength and to be perfectle honest our 'strength' was limited to a small group of players who basically ran out of steam carrying the rest.
I know it's early in the 'window' but it's never too early to get good business done and dusted when there were gaps to be filled.
Sevco have yet another new manager and along with the new investors will seek to mount a challenge. Celtic are the champions and have to ensure we concentrate on improvement and progress to stay on top.

There maybe plenty of players available at a fair price to suit our model. There are also plenty of clubs in better rated leagues and playing in a warmer and. drier climate who also want these players . Players are traded very publicly nowadays, as soon as a club show an interest, players agent if he is doing a good job spreads all details around many clubs . We can only try our best to sign the players we want, selling club will be in no hurry . We will be successful in getting signature of some players, and not of others .
We should continue practice of selling players who demanded out, if a buying club reaches our valuation. Hopefully we are not selling players, just because asking price was met.

I am surprised that Kris Boyd wastes his time spreading his knowledge on here .

BR will sign whoever he wants within the budget set.
