Rogic is barely in our half never mind our box. I think he's a good number 10 but never really trusted him to play as one of two central midfielders. Don't think he has the engine. Maybe he'll develop into that role in the future. Agree with consensus though that we are a centre mid and right back away from having a very good team. Gunter and Lucas would be ideal.

It would be interesting to find out how many games Rogic has actually played 90 mins. Not doubting his talent but for a young player his fitness levels are shocking.

I'm hopeful the sports science RD brought in and Rodgers new backroom team with Glen Driscoll will help him to reach his potential. I suppose it would be a bit of a gamble relying on Rogic but what happens if we end up bogged down with numbers in there again?
For me personaly a fit Rogic must start, ability wise he will have no problems playing at European level and his scoring ability could be priceless on that front.

Jeff Hendrick has been in the Irish team for a couple of years Viking Tim, and I've been watching him for longer than that. We would have got him for around a couple of million then but he signed a new contract then has went on to do well for Derby, then at the Euro's. He's a box to box type, very energetic, he reminded me of a young Scott Brown when I first seen him. As for the guy with the list with him name on it, - do you know that Burnley were told that £7 million wouldn't get him? For me he's not worth that and also not what we need. I think we have to get someone more disciplined who will sit deeper and can dictate play, ideally someone who is aggressive also but the way the manager wants to play we need a passer in there who plays with the head up, Hendrick isn't that type of player and has become well overpriced. As for the rest of this list - it's all players who are in the papers every day in England that are on the move. Yedlin is linked with a different club everyday. As for Ings, well we all know Rodgers rates him, he bought him. It's the sort of typical list that anybody could have come up with - all these guys agents will be trying to get them a move/ better deal! I'm sure they'll have different agents as well, and they'll all be selling their souls to get a slice of the pie, not just the one who our manager knows.

Dk maybe its nothing to do with the board. The player needs to want the move and the selling club has to agree to sell. We won't sell Gordon so sometimes that's how it goes. BR won't leave in the summer. We also need to get rid of the dead wood we bought in last year. It will take another 12 months to sort it all out so keep the faith.

I was never a great fan of the January window anyway. Not many players want a change halfway through the season so choices are limited. Teams also do not want to weaken their side when still have play-off places, cup games, automatic relegation/ promotion, euro places and league titles still to play for.

It has not been long since BR took over and he clearly had a clear-out in mind, but had to keep the nucleus of the inherited squad to tackle the CL qualifiers that were very quickly upon him.
Qualification was a primary target and although we struggled at times, the manager and players deserve enormous credit.
Since taking over, he has added five players right through the team -and is still building - while sifting out surplus players.
He has rejuvenated Forrest and has the team playing attacking football and scoring freely, while we try to find our best and most efficient defensive unit.
The CL group games and other cash raised from player sales have given us a great opportunity to invest in the team and raise the quality back to the standards we are used to, putting together and hopefully keeping a very good Celtic side capable of anything.

Revel Morrison would be an excellent signing! Perfect club to consistently get game time and play under a manager who is inspirational and will let him be himself. What BR did for Countinho and Suarez is unquestionable. Top club, great manager who believes in youth, fantastic stadium and fans and CHAMPIONS LEAGUE stage to show the world his ability. Lower premier league teams looking at him! haha He needs a proper stage and fighting relegation is not the answer! Sign him up.
