So we've allegedly offered £6.5m for Ginetis but Torino want £7.5m. Now we're waiting to see if we qualify for the group stages before meeting the asking price!
Now these figures may not be accurate, I don't know but to be sitting with what must be around £100m in the bank and still penny pinching for what could be crucial players is mind-boggling to say the least.

We should cough up as 7.5 wouldn't burst the bank for a quality player.

{Ed007's Note - 100% we want him, why not? He's a young player that is showing ambition and confidence in himself that is ready to take the next step in his career development.
I have zero problems with quality players using Celtic as a stepping stone to the Pub League or a top "Big 5" league side, we use that as a selling point.}

I doubt we have 100 million in the bank and any money in the bank, a significant percentage of it will be needed to pay bills from now until the end of the season.
However, you are right in that we do have money to spend but I don't think it is as much as many people think, due to our greatly reduced revenue this season.

Glad to hear he's up for it. Been one of the more exciting links for me. The profile of player we've missed for ages. He's a beast, but can get around and can play a bit. He can screen the back line if asked but he's capable of getting up to the edge of the area and helping with overloading the opponents third when needed.

Celtic are sitting on nearly £85million in the bank currently. We are stockpiling loads of money to finance kjetil knudsen's player options next summer. At least that is what I hope.
