I see papers saying Araujo has grown "fond" of Celtic but the player and Celtic have a big decision to make
reports saying he cost Bournemouth £8.5m and although they never rated him, they will be wanting to recoup most of that money, but will our Board splash that amount of cash.

Tim will the new manager want/ rate him? Yes the fans love him, but what happens to aj? 2 players for that position is ideal but how do you keep both happy?
That outlay will come with a decent wage also. Knowing the board they would sell aj then the position wouldn't be strengthend. Still the same back up players.

We should have 2 quality players for every position especially full backs who require more running and in turn more rest/ rotation. Having Sarrachis quality take the pressure off tierney on the other side has worked well.
That said there is no way our board will be ambitious enough to have both AJ and Araujo fighting for the same spot.
Araujo was only brought in because AJ is out for most of the season. Either AJ would have to move on or we will have to settle for donovan as back up (who has had a great breakthrough season to be fair)

Boy is worth keeping. AJ is a better RB so unless he makes World cup and moves on for big money. Arajou won't be at us.

Rumoured to be on circa £65000 per week at Bournemouth… we won’t pay him anything like that so enjoy him while he is here.
