Far too sensible that Troy, it would give us a head start before the summer rebuild, but would run the risk of his replacement not hitting the ground running and throwing away the league. Personally I'd be more in favour of your suggestion than the route we're going down. As come the summer we will be back to square one when loans expire.

that might well depend on a few factors;-
* which loan agreements have a buying clause in them
* how the loan players perform
* who the manager is next season
On a seperate note I don't see us affording Ferguson, fee and wage combined.
