According to sky Celtic have made inquiry to sign Callum Wilson I really hope this is not true 33 year old striker can't be the best we can hope for surely?

A never has been that spends most of his time injured. Sick of these pathetic links.

You can't write him off Bishoptonbhoy88. The last 33 year old I remember us signing was Lubo Moravcik and that turned out not too bad! Plenty of fans have been shouting for Wilson.
The board have took some amount of stick for " not spending, not backing the mamager, stockpiling millions" etc but it seems signing Callum Wilson would pacify most.
It just makes you wonder what all the fuss towards the board was all about!
But I trust MON's judgement. Buzz posted the stats of every manager we've had this season so who are we to argue with his judgement.
{Ed007's Note - What age was Carlton Cole when we signed him, how did that work out? Dion Dublin, Ian Wright, Paul Telfer?
See if you're still wondering what "all the fuss is towards the board was all about" you should maybe read what other people are saying and explaining.

He does read it Ed, then promptly ignores it.
Either diluded or a wind up merchant.

Of course there will be older players I'm forgetting that haven't worked out but the point is players that age can work out like Lubo proved.
Fans complaining the board don't spend a penny, back managers, stockpile millons, have no forward planning, no recruitment strategy etc then shout for Wilson undermines all their anger directed at the board.
I know there are other issues but what I have stated is a large part of the anger towards the board.
If we do sign Wilson he'll have my support anyway?.
{Ed007's Note - We have 2 weeks to get players in to make sure we win this league, is Wilson ideal, no but i have no doubt he would score goals for us and in the short term that's what we need.
Just because folk are willing to take a player just now doesn't mean they're backing the board, they're backing MON/SM's choices and the team.
Stop looking for arguments where there aren't any.}

I don’t rate Wilson at all. And for the money spent on him for wages etc I’d rather it went towards a permanent striker that will play in all the remaining league games.
Our physio’s are busy enough without him.

I don’t know bishopton, I’d definitely rate him, my worry is last 6 months stagnation at West Ham, has he slowed down or is he raring to go, if he got super fit and banged goals in he’d be an England shout depending on other people’s form and injuries, every striker is a Kane back up, if Calvert Lewis can’t get muted then so could a firing Wilson,

Bhoy88, have u been on holiday on the moon? If u don't understand the backlash from the fans towards the board by now you've obviously not been on this planet. like Ed said, would Wilson score goals? Absolutely, if he stayed fit, but bottom line is it's the board that's put us in the position we are. they employed tisdale, a man that even a junior outfit wouldn't hire and bring to their club, they then go do the most bizarre move of all in hiring Wilfred nancy, just when u thought the board couldn't balls it it any worse they prove yae wrong.2 weeks of this window to savage this title, make no mistake, if we don't find at least 4 players of quality to enhance that squad the title is gone for me.
oneil as brilliant as he is can only do so much, and when the man himself says he needs reinforcements, then that's what he needs. let's not forget, by hiring a guy like tisdale, hiring a manager if u could call him. that in Nancy, this board has set us back tenfold.

Better with Harold Wilson!

We would need a double size treatment table for Wilson and Iheanacho.

Was callum Wilson no on a pay as you play at West Ham? Why couldn’t we do something like that? Tbh though he will prob end up going abroad and making a fortune.

Wilson from hearts is young but he has great potential.
