Hope for the best, but expect the worst. To be honest, after such a horrendous transfer window, we have very few options. However, why the manager cannot see the obvious weaknesses and alter the formation to bolster that midfield is down to him.

Very few options. We have 6 central midfielders who are all good players. He just has to give some other ones a chance and pick them.

McGregor is the master at pointing and either playing someone into trouble or playing backwards.
Hatate and Nygren have been poor and Brendan has managed to coach the flair out of tounekti after 2 matches.

Why does hatate continue to start matches, I get calmac as he is captain but even he should be rested and give engles and bernardo a chance in midfield.

Engels hasn’t performed in the last while so I don’t know why that’s the solution. The confidence is low throughout and once that gets resolved the team will fire. They are all in a dip so whoever comes in might not make the expected difference.
