Idah reportedly being hunted by swansea.
I was a big Idah fan and expected him to come good but even i can't see anyway back for him.
I feel there is a good player in there somewhere but it just isn't working. Confidence is long gone and perhaps doesn't suit rodgers style. Best for everyone if he moves on.

With a bit of luck Swansea's manager being an Irish man and O'dea being his assistant, if we could get £2 million back on him it would be a bloody miracle.

Problem for our strikers is that no one is creating chances. Whoever is on the wings constantly choose safe option and that means going backwards. Doesn’t matter who we sign as he will need to and take the ball off Schmeichel is wants any chance of seeing it. Unless we get the forward thinking wingers BR apparently wanted, any striker is going to suffer.

If Swansea want Idah, they can have him even if we incur a loss. I don't think it's going to happen for him here. Beyond that, I among, many others, clamoured for the Board to sign Idah post last year's cup final. We fans can afford to get it wrong. For me, it kind of signposts why the Board may be reluctant to trust BR with decent cash especially when you throw Bernardo into the mix. This is a microcosm of the bigger mess we are in. If for eg we take a hit on Idah, we can't take another hit and remove BR early. I'm probably talking crap again but it's what's in my head right now.

I agree, I think service to our front men is a joke. If we let him go I think we will regret it down the line.

Edd, do you think there is any truth in the Idah rumours and there seems to be no mention of price. is there any chance of a CF cumn in or evn 2 if Idah leaves mate.
{Ed007's Note - I don't think the negotiations have even reached the level of "the price" mate, it's just talks to see if a deal is possible, are Celtic willing to sell, is Idah willing to make the move kind of stuff.
I always expected us to sign a striker and still think that'll happen regardless of the Idah transfer happening or not but if he does go I agree we will need another 1 on top of that.}

Surely the club has someone lined up as a cert for Idah's replacement before signing this one off or it would be Kyogo all over again. It's a shame he hasn't hit the expected heights. He was decent on loan, had a solid season as back up last season, he just looks so down on confidence. Has he been Brendaned like Kyogo too, both stuttered in the system we play? It just makes you wonder what is going on with the club, one minute Brendan wanted someone in to provide competition for Idah now we're selling him without a replacement through the door first. Has he fallen victim for not qualifying for the CL and now we're making up the loss of riches that the group stage brings?

Today I have seen two stories linking Celtic players Idah and Yang with moves to Swansea and Birmingham respectively.
If they have any substance at all, it is imperative that unlike the Kyogo exit, we get better quality in the door FIRST.

Ed just for sh@@s and giggles who thinks Swansea would a good move for Idah or we keep? Sure you can word better. I'm just worried our CL exit allows malaise to set in with an outgoing manager. Anyway a poll just gauge confidence in Idah. Its a please from me even though we would need 2 centre forwards which I dount. I would take Vardy on field over Idah just not the man or his Mrs. I Would still let him go bring on the youngsters?
