Based on what Shaun Maloney said, it looks like balikwisha has no place in the team or squad. My guess is he will be punted or loaned out.
Looks like we are going with Yang, tounekti and Jota when he returns.
That means our only right winger is James Forrest. To me this means signing 2 right wingers as James Forrest will have limited game time.
We are currently 1 midfielder down as Bernardo left, so we need to cover that.
We are also a left back and GK short.
This indicates we need 5 signings minimum and then it will be 1 in 1 out, I would assume.

Agree with that Weejoe.
If Hassan and Baur are signed at some point next week and a deal for Harkas (GK) is close, that puts us in a healthier position.
I still think Will Ferry would have ticked a few boxes as back up to KT, domestically at least.
I think Engels will get punted which means we will require another MF.
Again, and he doesn't aeem to be getting mentioned by anyone, Maswanhise at Motherwell? He can play across the front 3 positions, top scorer last season and apparently £5M could tempt him 20mins along the road from North Lanarkshire to el Paradiso.

I have heard Rangers are looking for a winger, think we could sell them Balikwisha for £5 million as we know how much they like to splash the cash.

joe why would you need to cover bernardo leaving we were bloated in the cm postion with 7 cm we now have 6 left that is more than enough cm to cover a season mate.
what we need is a freshen up in midfeild engles and hatate need punted and wee need to bring the two cm in were linked with baur and the boy from torino. two differnt player who will be hungry to do well at us. and that's what will happen those two will be punted and we will bring those two cms in.

Maybe because 5 of the 7 were not good enough.
I’d like to see 2/ 3 better calibre of centre mids signed.
Hatate and Engels will leave
Calmac and McCowan not worth keeping
Ox just signed and not proven he is any better than the rest.

Our midfield last season was woeful, couldn't create and couldn't keep weans oot a close either.
I know MON won't drop CalMac but his position and performances were part of the problem given the role he's been asked tk play.
If/ when signed, I'd hope that Baur can create for the new bhoys infont of him and if we got the Lithuanian CDM he could add a bit of much needed dig in the middle of the park.
Time will tell.
