Worst possible draw for us now let's see how the board react. Do they think even if we spend money it's still a 50/ 50 tie or do they go for it. If we don't make it through then we will be struggling to land our top targets once we are in the Europa league.
We have bought a champion league striker but will it be enough if the rest of them are at best Europa league quality. We will see.

Hopefully a few signings are made before we play them. We don't deserve to be in the CL if we can't beat teams of this pedigree.

We have 2 champions league strikers, we play btr against the so called harder teams,

I think it's a very good draw for us, also flight is just over 2hrs so no excuses of travel.

A bigger worry is the teams we play when we qualify.
If we want to be a CL then we need to be prepared and get past teams like this.

Theres no easy draws but on the face of I it I think it's decent.
Not far to travel, league probably similar to ours, LASK only league champions for the 2nd time.
Might come back to bite me but I'm OK with this draw.

We need to man up here, it's a team from Austria not exactly Real Madrid.
Is it the easist tie, no, but we've had easier in the past and still made an arse of it.
This is all about the players on the park doing the business and the board backing the manager to plug the many gaps in this side.

I am sure they will have most if not all their key positions sorted out by now not like us needing I would say another 4 or 5 first team players in not including AJ imminent departure.

ED007 That's just my opinion, of course you reply with your usual condescending tone but that's just standard from you. I wouldn't want to play the Norwegian champions either! We will have to settle for the Austrian champions who will give us a tough enough tie.
Winners of a league better than our own in my opinion is enough reason to say if we do not strengthen properly by the time we play them history suggests we could be in trouble.
{Ed007's Note - The Celtic team as it stands would beat LASK, even if we lost AJ & Engels. To hold the opinion that's the worst possible draw is just completely ridiculous, a team who are 99th in the UEFA rankings, 46 places below us.

Its the last knock out round. We are playing a team from Austria. If we can't beat them then we don't deserve to be in the champions league. Ya l would hope we had more signings but we still have enough to beat them.
