I don't know who posted it but the phrase 'The only team that will beat Celtic is Celtic' is so true and has been for a number of years.
I'm never concerned with what other teams do or who they buy. I'm only concerned about who pulls on the Celtic jersey. For the last number of years it's been all rather underwhelming, apart from the odd gem, and each season has a feeling of we are just doing enough.
Most fans agree that winning your league is the priority but having an extended European campaign is a necessity for a Club of our potential.
Let's see if the board/ hierarchy share our ambitions. I seriously hope so. ???.

Someone hasn't been paying attention. No club in the world has 10s of millions in the bank. That is our only ambition. MONEY ?.

I think the last AGM farce proved that our Board are totally detached and in contempt of the support and share-holders, Therefor, their idea of progress and ambition is light years apart in ambition and objectives, Celtic have went from complacently standing still to a precarious period of downsizing, cutting corners and incompetence, that could cause serious decline and damage.

Looks like we are going to sell before we buy again, which will put us in our usual poor negotiating position where clubs know we are desperate and have money in the bank.
What a s**t show we really are.
The sheep have taken in 10 players, sevco 6, Dundee 5 with another 5 being lined up and us, 1 plus another returning short term deal.
MN needs to leave, he us and incompetent fool way out of his depth.
They are selling new strips, looking to build a multi function pitch outside the stadium but who is actually working on identifying and buying the 6 or 7 new players we need before the league and CL qualification starts.

Man City have broke that many rules over the years yet nowt happens.

Tottenham are nearly a billion in debt so is Man U and Chelsea and Liverpool and nearly every team in that league just because they have cash reserves means nothing they use that so called cash to leverage high interest loans and it will eventually crumble because it isn’t sustainable.

It was based on Celtic using the financial resources at their disposal then no one should come near us.

I knew I had seen it on here North18Q.
Every year it's like groundhog day. We never seem to have the players in place at the start of the season for the Champions league qualifiers (something that i don't believe we should be playing in but that is a discussion for another time) It always feels like we are just waiting to see if we qualify instead of just building the team for the season ??♂️.
