Poor first half performance especially Murray what a nightmare but amazed with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, empty jersey. Rest of the squad pulled their socks up in the second half thank the lord ??
Lesson learnt, hopefully pull this off next Sunday!

A bit tough on Murray. Yes, he made a howler of a mistake, but was covering for Scales, who was way out of position. Mind you, both were guilty of merely jogging back after their errors, or they might have been able to stop the goal. Apart from that error, Murray was very solid and looked more composed than Trusty ever does.
Today's worst performer was clearly Maeda. What a stinker. McCowan was very unlucky to lose his place after Thursday. At least we've found a reliable goalkeeper who couldn't be faulted for either goal, and was again decisive coming off his line to thwart some attacks.

Leeds Celt, I think you are being hard on The Ox. He is slowly getting his fitness back, and these derby games are 100 mph. We should praise Martin for making changes and taking off the bhoy, who will have learned from this game.

The first time I watched Ox, my first thought was "A poor man's McStay". What would the Maestro be worth today? I watched the McAvennie documentary last night on BBC iPlayer - if you've time, well worth a watch. Dundee game when we won the league and United cup final in the centenary year - I was at both games - some player McAvennie was too - what would he be worth? McNeil said to him Rangers are signing superstars - so we're singing Celtic supporters.
Best part of 40 years ago and I remember both games like it was yesterday. Great memories. Ross Desmond wouldn't understand.
