Surprise Surprise
Just read that Sevco disputing our Cup allocation, they will NOT give us full Broomloan Road stand
I hope club refuses to accept anything less.

Tough because there is nothing the Ibrox Chief’s can do about it.
Celtic will let them of lightly by taking the 7,800 Broomloan allocation when we’re actually due 10.000 tickets with the 20% SFA cup rules for away fans.
Celtic have a ticket policy in place in the Lisbon Lions stand that does not include Sevco tickets with some season tickets.
Those same tickets would go to Sevco fans in the event they were drawn away to Celtic in a cup tie.
If Sevco don’t have the same kind of policy in the Broomloan Road Stand then that’s a silly mistake to make and there will be 7,800 angry ticketless Bears they will have to deal with.
Not our problem.

Absolutely correct Buzz, as you say taking the Broomloan is letting then off lightly . This scenario should of been thought of before they sold their ST's. Is that wee pokey bit in the corner that we used to get part of the Broomloan? If not we should get that too to bring us closer to the 10,200 we are due.

Buzz it doesn’t work like that because it’s cup, no one’s seat is guaranteed for a cup so a change for allocation just means you lose your seat and both teams can do it to any of there fans, however your correct regards Celtics policy which is in place for league matches also incase this issue ever reverts back to old allocations Celtic fans don’t get the league fixture as part season book and need to buy it separately, sevco I believe don’t have that clause, it’s an easy amendment during season Tik renewal tho (this seat no longer includes derby matches incase we decide to reverse our sore loser policy and welcome our neighbours back)

I’m sure anyone in the Celtic Main Stand, North Stand or the Jock Stein Stand have not had to move seats for a domestic cup tie since the Stadium was built.
However a selected few were moved for European matches but never a domestic cup tie.
That is how it works because it would mean too much work for the ticket office if they did it another way.

I don't know what the exact breakdown is but Celtic sell 48000 full Season tickets that gives 19 home league games including against them and guaranteed a ticket for any cup game at CP. I think they sell another 4 or 5000 ST's that gives you 17 league games and a good possibility to buy a ticket for the 2 league games against them and a ticket for cup games but as far as I know its not guaranteed.
With Celtic having 48000 full ST holders who are guaranteed a ticket for every home game, this leaves 12,000 tickets 20% of stadium for the eventuality of away support taking up full allocation for cup games.
Celtic should be getting the full Broomloan no question and even then they are only getting about 15% of the stadium.

The “special season tickets” in 114,115,116,117 and upper stand take the amount of season ticket holders to 54,000.
That’s why there’s as many not getting Derby games included with their season tickets.
I always thought there was more than 48,000 full season ticket holders but maybe it’s due to the 20% rule.

I'm pretty sure they keep it at 48000 full season ticket holders to adhere to the 20% rule, unlike the other mob.
You're right that special season tickets are all located in the L Lions stand where a full 12000 away allocation would be.

I remember being at the 97-98 Semi final against them and they had a toss of a coin to see who got home advantage as Hampden was out of commission (Unbelievably we won the toss) Celtic Park had a capacity of 48000 at the time, the Jock Stein was getting built.
We got 26000 they got 22000 tickets . If I remember right they had the whole L Lions stand round to about where the GB are now located, i'm sure they had a part of the Main Stand too.

You need to include the seats shut off to segregate. That's a couple of hundred seats i thunk.
