Are we going to repeat the kyogo blunder and sell arne Engels on deadline day and fail to replace him thus leaving ourselves weakened?
I am not opposed to selling anyone but only of we replace them with someone better or of equal standard.
Selling Engels without a suitable replacement coming in would be a disaster.

If you think Engels is bad I can only imagine how you rate Hatate, who hasn't kicked a ball in 18 months or our illustrious captain what has has he been doing this season for his £35K+ per week wage, other than pointing?

Engels and Kuhn were probably our top performers in CL last season. So they have both proved they are capable of playing at the highest level.
If we were to sell Engels this window, we would be left with 4 midfielders, a weakened midfield and lose our main penalty and corner kick taker. As I said, it would be utter stupidity if we sold him without a suitable replacement.

Engels is still young and can improve. Yes in some games he has not been great. But to be honest Hatate and Mcgregor have been just as poor, if not worse.
I would rather have Engels in the team than the other two. If we had better midfield players alongside Engels you would see a much better player.
Mcgregor is past his best and Hatat is an empty jersey most games.
We are crying out for a couple of new midfield players, with one being a player who can be physical and dominate games, too often our midfield is weak and get over run.
