Question to our new stand in chairman, Desmond and the board.
Do you think there will be harmony if we lose to hearts next weekend or we mess up another transfer window or we fail to win the league?

Joe they're 80 % there so they don't have much work to do, if there was a prize for implofing a club from a massive position of strength it would be gold medals all round ??.

See tbh joe if we loose the league it’s not a disaster mate. It is what it is we can’t win it every year. Tbh I’m like Iikeing this 3 teams challengeing for the league at this point in the season. This having the league win before it even starts is pish mate I want a challenge.

I will let you go an tell all the angry fans it's not a disaster if we lose the league. ?
It is a major setback if we lose the league, especially if Sevco win it. If they win it they will leapfrog us in terms of revenue next season as they get automatic qualification.
Their board seem to act quick when things are going wrong and they also seem to be able to identify players and sign them. That along with having more money than us would be a major concern for me.

Competition is a good thing UI, I take your point.
The issue that I have is that whilst Hearts are better this season and Sevco seems to finally have a manager who's getting results, we are going backwards.
The standard isn't getting better, and to add insult to injury, those two teams have been able to sign players to help them improve, where we seem to struggle with that concept.

There is no hiding the fact we have regressed at an alarming rate. When BR came in, it was on the back of the club winning a treble and he was walking into a side superior and miles ahead of it's nearest competitors rather than taking over a sh*tshow, with a real chance of progression and kicking on to something special. The position we find ourselves in now is an absolute shambles.
Granted others have improved since, but a few failed windows, a failed managerial appointment and the declining relationship between club and it's supporters has left us behind. Losing the league now from the position we was in under Ange is gross negligence and can't just be brushed off with the "you can't win them all" attitude.

We were also in the strongest financial position in our history at start of the season and squad was only needing a few top class reinforcements to make this a great season and they fecked it by not delivering, starting a fight with the manager and fans.
18 Jan 2026 12:57:49
It would be a disaster as sevco go straight into cl and pocket 40m like we should have done this season.
18 Jan 2026 13:08:47
the competition is getting better hearts are looking on the up with a billionaire backing them same as sevco there getting there house in order and are starting to put up a challenge. motherwell are a good outfit there's 15 points between the top 5 teams and 6 between the top 3 when was the last time we saw that.
listen if we loose the league ill be disappointed but it is what it is we go again next season strolling the league every year is boring having it win with months to go is pish mate weres the achievement when no one is putting up a challenge.
we were only miles in front because no one else had the money to challenge now two clubs have the money there challenging people don't like it its good for the league and makes it more exciting. if oneil was left in charge we would be top just now wilfred lost us 12 points in the league and i'm certain oneil would have got us at least 7 points from that 12. embrace the challenge.

All I would say without throwing petrol on an already simmering fan base. Nobody can argue that allowing 2 clubs that have been relegated in recent seasons to challenge our domestic dominance is a dereliction of duty and the apathy the board have shown cannot be argued, the only other reason for the position we find ourselves in it is by design. PL must have had his hands all over this.
The current board of absolute YES men are in danger of causing us some serious harm when the scum died we SHOULD have removed them from existence by focusing on the Celtic FC of the next few generations to come knowing that the cash cow destroying football would balance itself out.
We must now maintain the pressure on the blinkered Billionaires/ Millionaires to ensure they get the message THIS IS OUR CLUB ???????????????????.
18 Jan 2026 14:30:18
The competition is not getting better. The reason the league is the way it is, is due to Celtic and sevco fecking things up.
Hearts should be nowhere near either club and Sevco should be nowhere near us. The fact they are, shows how badly our board have dropped the ball.
18 Jan 2026 15:05:30
what aloud of tosh man they have billionaires funding them now of course there getting better .
how should they be now were near us when they have billionaires funding them sevco have just signed skov olsen that's some signing
ye think there just going to sit and let us dominate when they have all that money behind them now its time to wake up and smell the coffee.
{Ed007's Note - And just forget about FSR/FFP rules? It doesn't matter how rich your owners are in modern football, it's about the £ the Club makes.}

Sevco seem to be doing that mark they run at a loss every year yet spend like mad and wage bill bigger than ours.
