I would genuinely like to move away from using wingers. Ours always seem unable to be consistent and can’t cross a ball to save themselves.

2 new dominant tall CH’s. There isn’t a centre half at Celtic that isn’t at best decent SPL level.
Get a defensive midfielder that is at least 6ft, mobile and can pass a ball forward.
I’d like to get a couple of Scottish players in the squad. Need to be 2/ 3 levels better than Ralston, Calmac and Forrest etc (based on current ability)
Our board have shown they are world class at getting rid of rubbish so let the clear out begin.

Has anyone read Inamuras interview.
The poor guy is feeling ashamed about lasting 6 months here. He fel that no matter what he did he wasn't going to get a chance.
He trained with 3 other players or on his own.
He looked a decent prospect when he arrived but BR didn't give him a chance, because he wasn't his player. Where have we heard that before.
Tbh I am not sure many Japanese players would want to, or be advised to come here after our treatment of their players.
Iwata was a player who was also never given a chance. I also saw a player in him.

Shame MIP as he didn't put a foot wrong in pre season and his only game he played. Iwata was solid too and felt his introduction into the team when Calmac was injured helped us secure the league.

Victims of a silent battle between manager and board.
Both could have dome a job for us.
What confuses me about recent signings, we watched them (notice I didn't say scouted) , signed them because of how we saw them play, and then we play them in a different position, then they end up getting little game time.
How many players have we done that to recently.

The lad looked decent when he played, never got a real chance at all, BR comments about the lad early on (not ready for first team, then saying he is, then not playing him) .
Should've been loaned out if instead of training and getting no match experience, bad management of a player.

Martin O'Neil and Nancy did not play our latest Japanese players so I doubt their lack of playtime was down to the manager making a point and more to do with them not being good enough.
