I fear that the Board are prepared to sacrifice the entire season rather than admit to failure regarding their choice of manager. Future season tickets sales will probably not be overly effected because there will be someone new in place for 26/ 27.

If the Board decide to stick with WN and invest say £15-£25m in January to resource a rebuild to suit his tactics, then it could be more than one season they are sacrificing.

Who is he going to bring in? His team from the MLS which is very poor standard of football? He still needs to turn it around and get to January first which is a huge ask for him by the looks of it!
