I sometimes think that Celtic fans idea of the best Celtic doesn't match the real world of football where Celtic aren't the draw they once where and Scottish football doesn't help overall, however I then take a look around Europe wether it's teams that push boat out money wise or wether it's well organised clubs too to bottom and the evidence is there that Celtic while being rich in cash and trophies is no where near the best version of itself, change is needed, do I think absolute change no, do I think other issues related to gb should be mixed together with board football issues no, but change is needed no doubt.

While I agree with that JAA, I think the board scored a massive own goal by going on the warpath against the fans and I don't see how that relationship can be restored, which is going to make running the club super difficult as there is open war now.
I am flabbergasted that our PR department didn't tell the Desmond's not to release those statements.

Troy I remember standing in old jungle in early 1993 when there was 8000 at a game v Airdrie and it was like a ghost town that night! We lost 1-0 and walking back to the forge I thought it can't possibly get worse? It's not quite that bad yet but something needs to change and quickly.

Ian Jamieson (a massive Jambo) is our Communications Manager.
I reckon the board messed up badly because Rodgers completely blind sided them and done them up like a kipper. Hence the reason Desmond was absolutely raging and released that scathing attack on him. They thought they could control him and the narrative but he beat them at their own game.
Don't get me wrong I am not taking Rodgers's side as he as well as the board are responsible for the mess we find ourselves in. Luckily for him, he has left the club and has left the board to kop all the flack from the fans. They are both cowards as they refuse to face the fans and answer the uncomfortable questions.

We all have opinions and are entitled to share them. We will not always agree and that might be an age thing or maybe not, it may be we have totally differing views on what Celtic is and should be, but we do not take part in this forum to be personally attacked.
Ed is doing a great job on here imo and has to put up with a lot of our nonsense me and others spout forth and yes he disagrees with some of what we post and has his own opinion, however that does not give anyone the right to make a personal attack, particularly without saying anything to contradict what Ed had posted.
