If the rumours are true about Nancy, what scares me is that he is a relative unknown that will not come in and demand big spending. He likely will have no clue about the state our club is in and the task he has in front of him.
I can't see the board throwing £10m signings at this guy.
Its another ange type and i would expect an influx of mls players to follow him.

The comparison is that Derrytim stated it's another Ange type and Ange turned out ok. Nancy has won the MLS Cup, The Leagues Cup and finished runner up in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. If he gets the gig it might be a masterstroke it might not be but we'll just have to wait and see. p.

I'm not sure he can be compared to ange in any way except he's an unknown to most of us, the cvs don't match, he's had ltd success, looks like as a manager we're now getting a project like we do players ( success rate for players ain't good )

He hasn't been a Manager for 5 years yet, Ange had been a Manager for many, many more years.
Ange won in different countries and at national level, this guy has won 3 trophies of little consequence.
There is nothing in his portfolio that screams he is a winner and a tactical genius who can turn us around.
I genuinely hope I am wrong and i will hold my hands up if I am but I am more concerned than excited.
He is outspoken and refuses to change his system, which is something we are used to but will that system work and will our football be exciting to watch and be entertaining.
Has he experience in rurning 1-2 million pound players into 20 million players because I can see us going backwards to that level of buying again.
The fact the rumours are Tisdale is behind this worries me, what has he done up to now to demonstrate he knows what he is doing.
It took Ange a few months to turn things around, can Nancy do that if it is him that is coming.
We are probably in a worse state as a club than then, does he have the ability and experience to rurn this tanker.

In addition to my previous post about Nancy, he is a modern thinking Manager compared to Enrique in his football philosophy and style, which needs a modern football club for this to work.
That has to be a real concern because we are not that.
He likes a small squad and his methods are to play out from the back which we have demonstrated we are not great at.
I read comments suggesting it can take a season for players to get used to this system but can we give him that time. Do we risk a potential season without a trophy.
If it works it could be great but if not, it could set us back years.
If it is him, and it is DD that is driving this, it does suggest a potential desire to change, to move forward and take risks.

Maeda it suggests he will be happy with tisdales non existent recruitment he won't be given any money and he will be a yes man and accept what he is given and either it works or doesn't the club is in a shambles and the so called football doctor who hasn't recruited one single decent player to note as of yet is now choosing our new manager which in itself speaks volumes I hope it works but I can see this ending badly and a failure of the highest magnitude.

Frank, there can be no one confident that this guy will do a great job because he has not got anything in his background to suggest that.
Ange had, he was a proven winner at a good level, this guys has won at a low level.
This is our biggest risk in many, many years and it is on DD and Dr Football Tisdale' heads.
This could totally derail our season and the next few seasons.
The other issue is that no one at our club will come out and tell us why he is their number 1 choice.
Of all the names mentioned he is nowhere near the top in terms of experience.
