This latest board announcement just emphasizes how incompetent and out of touch this board are across every aspect of the club. Instead of fixing problems around security in general, they're punishing fans with bans that don't stop anything from happening again.
Surely if you identify an issue, you talk to everyone involved, figure out why it happened, implement fixes, publicly reinforce policies, or even think about forward thinking revenue generating ideas like last-minute upgrades, seat changes etc. But no, this board decides that talks are off the table and the best action is to further divide the club at a time when we should be pulling together.
I'd almost suggest they're attempting to sabotage the club. Surely no one is so arrogant and incapable to think that this is what we need right now or helps anything?

Green Brigade needs disbanding. They're self serving and Ego driven just like the current board. They think they speak for everyone when they don't, violence at the football is a step too far and I don't want them back at the game, plenty of fans could fill that corner without it being an agenda driven political platform.
Yes the songs and noise is good, but we need something new, those who are there through default should be allowed to keep their seats if they agree to not make it a political platform.

The Green Brigade only have about 180 members.
They only fill in a fraction of the North Curve.
But they do get the blame for everything that's bad and they don't receive any praise for their countless Charity work.

I said a while back that it would not surprise me if the board had a plan to completely get rid of the GB and replace them with fans from the waiting list.
In fact if this waiting list still exists it wouldn't bother them if thousands gave up their seats as they would see this as a way to dampen the noise.
DD isn't going anywhere and that's why ST renewal will be the tipping point for this board one way or another.
It's also a certainty that the board will go for an early renewal date deadline to control the situation.

I know our out of touch board shat it and did not appoint Bernard Hopkins as head of security but if I recall they did the next worst thing and appointed another head honcho from police Scotland instead.
We need to remember that this is the same police Scotland that stated publicly that they would " smash the Marxist green brigade" and they have been harassing and demonising them ever since.
It is a sad day when our board side with the enemy of our fans instead of backing up our fans and trying to use your position to shine a light on what the police have done.
Just another reason why Desmond and the board needs to leave our club.
