My hope is the fans let the board know what we think of them on Wednesday evening and that the protests intensify.
After last night's shenanigans it is abundantly clear that the board and Desmond are stuck in the dark ages and need to go before they ruin our club.

Okay Brendans results and decision making lately been poor, but that statement from Desmond last night was a total character assassination job.
If he's hoping that will shift the spotlight of the board I think he's just added to the hostility.
Know he's major shareholder but surely that's the chairman's job to issue club statements.
Oh forgot he's not got the bottle to address major decisions at board level.

Exactly benny, the statement is proof that Desmond runs everything at Celtic. If we want change he needs to go.

DD clearly believes that BR has stabbed him in the back by saying all the things he has. BR has accused the board of breaking their promises.
Whoever is to blame, and only that 2 arties know, either way we need to move forward quickly to get the players heads back in the game.
There is no way that this tit for tat has not affected the team and it could not continue.
We should have been in CL, top of SPFL and looking forward to a successful season but we for some reason have imploded, a self inflicted wound, caused by either one person, two people or a group of people acting against one.
It is a shambles of sevco standard which makes it so embarrassing.
We are like a clown car, slowly falling apart with each game.

I think DD is trying to deflect any problems off the board and solely onto Rodgers. but he is not the only one to go. so something is up. I expected Kennedy to stay.

I always thought they had a good working relationship, but Desmond has absolutely slaughtered him (in public) . The statement casts a lot of doubt on what was really going on inside the club, but also appears to cover their backs and hang the manager out to dry.
Our Board are Tyrants; and cannot shirk from the disastrous 'window' that saw our squad ripped apart and CL qualification sacrificed. Most of us agree that the manager has been at fault even game to game and although it's a shocking conclusion, maybe it let's him off the hook? Love MON but like Brendan Rodgers, I feel his best days are probably in the past.
However, he may bring a spark of energy and enthusiasm, while Maloney must have learned a lot from his 'apprenticeships' abroad. Shocked, stunned and very surprised by these events but something had to give and it wasn't going to be the untouchable Parkhead Polit Bureau. What next?

This is nonsense from DD.
BR met with them in the Summer and outlined where he was at, which was things would have to change as he wasn’t a manager who was there just to maintain.
This has been done to turn everything on Rodgers the same as last time.
If they get away with this then they will be so smug and laughing up their sleeves in the boardroom at the gullible fans.
Ver telling that most of the staff have also walked including Kennedy who clearly knows Maloney is a shoe in for the job.
No surprise only a Strachan remains as its jobs for the boys again.
Get this board gone.

I said weeks ago I thought br was talking himself into a clear scapegoat, I’m leaning towards dd ( purely because br has previous within football of being pretty self centred etc ) but I liked him so I think fully reserve judgement until he fires back, which surely must Happen, only reason I can see br resigning is so no non disclosure and he can give his version at some point, I think people asking for dd to go is moronic, people asking for board change is correct there’s without doubt failings that need addressed, I think a new manager alongside lawell retirement and hopefully Nicholson moving on at some point as I don’t think he will ever appease fans should see a steady future (with obvious investment in team that’s required )

I think we should all hold up a sign saying or showing we agree with the board.

DD is driving the ship. He is in charge of board ins and outs. He is in charge of manager appointments. He is in charge of our clubs strategy. He also likes to get involved in transfer ins and outs from time to time. We could change the whole board but the exact same will happen.
He needs to go before he widens the chasm that exists between them and us.
28 Oct 2025 10:47:39
Joe, people like you are the only ones widening anything, most of the rest of us want to come together, want shared success, just want to win football matches,

I am only reacting to the boards lack of vision and incompetence and I have had enough of their poor decision making ruining our club. It is time for them to go.
If you think I am in the minority you are deluding yourself.
28 Oct 2025 13:16:39
I'm not deluded I'm a realist, your reacting are you, so what' happens if dd sells up, or have you even thought that far ahead in your grand scheme, selling up, new majority ownership, destabilising the club, complete change will cause more harm than not spending a few mill on players that are successful on a flip of a coin in today's market,
