I am a bit more optimistic going forward as I am excited to see the boy Tounekti and Jota on either wing come January, with Iheanacho leading the line and being the big target man we have needed
Also (whisper it) but I think our Board will sanction a couple of decent signings, one that Brendan wants.
But being our Board, to finance new players, I expect Maeda, Hatate both to leave.

Its not just about a couple of signings. Its aboutva complete abandonment of their dithering, cheapskate. Ambitionless BS. We need Lawell and Nicholson out. We need the Tash to give autonomy to use decided budget in line with football needs. He has to stop deciding who gets signed, old oaks act. The greatest prize woujd be him selling up, or other shareholders collecting shares to make him redundant. Their policy has cost us over £300m and so many humiliating hidings.

If we had signed Tounekti sland had got through, without any other signings, we would have been in for a series of total scuddings.
Right now I don't think we will even get out of the first phase of the EL, never mind the CL. That's the level of criminal ineptitude we have to endure under thise board of useless, overpaid barstewards.
