Has that idea ever worked or even been implemented by anyone to any effect? Seems like the sort of thing the knuckle draggers would attempt. That and stadium protests seem like a waste of time to me as there never seems to be any direct consequences of those type of action.

Sorry but am I missing something? If the product on the park is by and large, consistently turgid, crap. whatever word we wish to choose (I'm not blaming the players, they try their hardest) , stop going to the games. All this not buying stuff in the ground is pussyfooting round the edges.
