Would love to see us rotate the squad like that far more often than we do. Some of thw football we played was fantastic. Bernardo in that deep lying midfielder role pushed our whole midfield 5-10 yards up the park.
Inamura was fantastic
Nygren looks better wide
Murray who i have never really rated much looked very good.
Both Shin and Kenny made impacts.
Rodger's subs were bloody baffling though.
All in all it was a good day.

Inamura, Shin and Yang were brilliant. I like Murray, he has the stature and with the right development he could be a rock in the heart of our defence for years to come!

Definitely was a very good performance - even at 0-0 - and we had several stand-outs including Inamura, Nygren, Bernardo, Engels and captain for the day Scales, who had his best game of the season. Dane Murray was solid and rectified his only error with a goal saving tackle. I agree both strikers had their moments and played well.
We have to take all the positives from today and build on it for Tuesdays return leg and hopefully make amends for last Wednesday?
The substitutions would best be explained by the manager, but non-the-less it didn't affect the result.

There was absolutely no need to remove Bernardo imo.
End of last season he done similar and put Hatate out the cup final.

Bernardo was tiring after putting in a great shift but has had little game time.

Celtic were terrible in the first half which meant we hadn’t scored a home goal in 2.5 hours since our 4th against Falkirk.
But
Celtic were thankfully a brilliant different team in the second half.

Buzz i can't see why anyone would say we were terrible. We done everything but score, keeper pulling wonder saves off. Could easily went in a couple up.

It was a good performance today. Played well first half just couldn't score. Their keeper had a couple of great saves. Shin looks lively and was unlucky ot to score today.
2nd half we upped it again and scored the goals we deserved. Nygren looked class and delighted for Kenny.
Inamura just oozes calm and will be a big player for us.
As I said a few days ago, I would have Hatate, Bernardo, Engels in the middle of the park, with Bernardo or Engels playing deeper. Maeda and Nygren out wide.
I also accept that BR is never going to bench CM for this game, so he needs to get the ball moving forward quicker.
We need to get a grip of midfield quickly as they move the ball quickly through midfield to their front men and looked as if they outnumbered us in midfield in the last game.

I Agee with the timing of substitutions and with most of the personnel. It’s good to get players off at around 60-70 mins or to avoid injury. But hose coming on should be ok for 30 mins although Clancy had no problem with Livingston putting boot in .
Murray hasn’t played any football for 2 yrs and not much this yr . He was very distressed and tired at end may have been pushed too far.

Kev I’ve got bad eye sight,
My ticket yesterday was at the opposite corner only 4 rows from the front but I felt that first half was similar to Wednesday.
I was concerned at halftime about our performance but it looks like our chances were better than I thought.
