I know he's 38 but I think Vardy would be dynamite for a couple of seasons up here. Still has a fair bit of pace and knows his way to the goal. We could do worse (let's be honest, we already are)

The only part of that I like is our young forwards could learn from him but I don't see him as our striker as I'm not sure he would do enough running to suit our system.

I'm not a fan of his, or his fandango of a Mrs and if we had a viable, alternative option, Id take it.
Do I think he'd score goals - yes.

He could score up here with his slippers on, would do for a year what I saw of him last year he still had the pace, defoe did OK when he came up.

I don't like the guy and would prefer a younger striker, but the 'young guns' we have are misfiring, so an experienced centre could help their development. BR has managed Vardy before and if he thought he had the attitude, ability and attributes to suit Celtic he would make a move. However, wages and relocation may not be feasible>.

Celtic mad . If Celtic Board and Manager have to sign a temporary truce in order to sign Vardy, then I am all for it because the childish actions on by both Board and Manager that has both sides think they are more important than our club seems to have caused a stalemate and so I will be happy no matter who we sign.
With the complete stalemate that Board and BR have created at the most important time of the transfer window, I can’t help but think how stupid both sides were in June 2023 . If both set of clowns didn’t realise that they hated each other and hence could bring our transfer window to a halt, then neither Board or manager BR are fit and proper people to control our club.

If we had options no. We dont. His wife woujd be more dangerous than Idah or Kenny. I would take him until Jan and review, whilst buying a real striker for the long term.

The boy Strelec from Slovan looks a striker with good potential, I know we have been linked with him and apparently put a bid in for him in January. I would love to see this boy join us. Its pretty obvious though we are waiting to see if we qualify for the champions league before the board will loosen the purse strings. We have all seen this story before.
