So "Provocation" is OK then?
What would they have said if some fans had reacted in a physical way?
Vaclav Cerny will face no police action over Watergate after the authorities ended their probe and confirmed no criminality had taken place.
(It was only water BUT this was a Celtic V sevco game so they know how serious some fans take this one)
The Rangers winger - who could still face SFA punishment - found himself in hot water after soaking Celtic fans with a water bottle as he celebrated Hamza Igamane's late Old Firm winner.
It sparked fury among the home supporters and Celtic later raised concerns with the authorities over the incident.

So its going to be totally ok when we score at Mordor and Ralston, Jota or Khun runs up the sideline and does the same?
Will the SMSM just say it was a wee bit of banter and our fans are having a pyro party? will so called pundits like Peter Martin and Tam McManus sit on there youtube show and say its a bit of fun and Celtic need to stop over reacting. I wonder how they would react if they were walking down the street and someone ran past asnd threw a bottle of water over them.

Never expected anything else as thay also condoned and probably enjoyed the glass and bottle incidents at the slime pit in recent years. There will always be one separate rule for Sevco whether it's SFA, SPFL, Politicians or Polis. However, we shall overcome.

It’s not the water squirting that’s the issue. Our own fans were delayed entry into the stadium, for fear of violence breaking out. It was the first game that opposition fans were allowed back in, on a day where all eyes were on fan behaviour.
On the same day that the police, SMSM, probably even our own security and board were concerned, some numptie had decided to noise up the fans. That’s provocation, and he’s lucky no one jumped the barrier to knock his head off his shoulders.
Congrats to the fans who, although upset, didn’t retaliate. Playing this down as a wee bit of water is missing the point.

I'll be astounded if the SFA don't take any action, this is a game that players are well warned what you can and can't do, you can't compare this to other incidents in recent years as the Sevies are trying to do I.e. Griff tying a scarf to a goalpost or wiping his nose on a corner flag.
This was a player making contact with the opposition support albeit it was only water, if there is no action taken, this opens up a free for all in future games. How about our next visit to Ibrox once the title has been won, our bench load themselves with water bottles and run down the main stand spraying water (champagne style) over the Sevies. I'm sure they would find it as hilarious as they did at Celtic Park ?.

Police should have removed him instantly, cautioned him, that would have been end of it.
