Throwing a dice here, because of work commitments I can only get to Paradise at best twice a season. We've booked the Kilmarnock game on Saturday 12th April, accommodation and flights but no tickets yet. Not released until a few weeks earlier. Anyone the odds of getting two tickets? We've applied online but on a waiting list ??.

General sale will likely be the friday 8 days before. i've had good fortune each time through this. You've maybe registered for hospitality. Could be a popular one as could either be the day er secure title or first home after.

Thanks Philip, yes we went for the hospitality option just to make sure otherwise I don’t know a plan B. It worries me, watching most home games and noting the amount of empty seats annoys me in situations like this and beforehand trying to book tickets online displays no seats available ?.
{Ed007's Note - I've heard rumours that there won't be a ticket office as such next season and that there won't be any physical season tickets as it'll be switching to an e-ticketing system, that should make it easier to set up a ticket resale scheme realistically up to minutes before a game kicks off.
I totally agree about the amount of empty seats at games, if it's not a Derby, a CL game, the day we win the league and maybe at a push flag day there is easily thousands of empty seats, it's my main argument against a stadium expansion - we need to concentrate of filling the stadium we have before we think of any expansion and a ticket resale scheme would be a massive help towards doing that.}

Thanks Ed, hopefully that will be implemented next season. At the moment, all in I don’t expect to get any change out of €1,000.00 for a weekend in Glasgow which we definitely enjoy. But it’d be perfect to be in paradise rather than Malone’s watching it on TV with empty seats in the background ?.
{Ed007's Note - Mind me - and everyone else - nearer the time and I'll see if there's any kicking about on the discord or that ??

Will do Ed, thanks for this ?.

Ed I agree with you re stadium expansion. I don't buy the waiting list as an argument in favour of stadium expansion. The bottom. line is I don't think we could fill a 70k+ seater. The empty seat issue would look a lot worse if we had a bigger stadium.
{Ed007's Note - We could easily fill a 70k seater stadium if there was a ticket resale system in place.}

I don’t know if I’m part of the problem on this or not, I’m a season ticket holder living in England, I generally get up for weekend games no problem but can’t make midweek games so my seat is empty. I empathise with all fans coming from England, Ireland, even the north of Scotland. Fans from Ireland generally can’t make Sunday games either due to ferry times.
I’d welcome a resale scheme and my ticket would be made available any time I couldn’t go. I fill in the club survey every year and raise this, so do hundreds of not thousands of others.
But it is a conscious decision by the club, they want tickets to be hard to get and and single match sales to be additional revenue. It’s why the stadium expansion is not totally pie in the sky, we could easily add another 10k season tickets (personally I’d like to see us open more corporate/ premium tickets too, that’s where the real money is) . But totally take you point ed, it would ultimately add to the number of empty seats every game.
{Ed007's Note - It's not you that's the problem Gerry it's the ticketing system that needs a major overhaul. It costs guys like you and the Irish lads a small fortune to get to games and between the money & timing of matches etc means you all miss a few games every season, that's totally understandable.
If it is a decision the Club has made to keep tickets rare to get then that's one of the stupidest decisions they have ever made, they have the ST money, they would make a couple of quid of the resale and they have a customer in the seat that would otherwise be empty, look around Ibrox at the start of games - maybe earlier in the season with the way it's went - and you won't see many empty seats, they have had a ticket resale system (Seatsub??) for a couple of years and it's been a massive success for them.}

I’ll be looking for tickets for this game also. It’s my daughter’s birthday that day so I might go down the hospitality route also to confirm we get. Anybody know how you go about getting a pic on the big screens in the day for her birthday (cost etc, do you just call the club to arrange) . What a time to be a supporter just now, everyday more and more them just jump on the (yeah we’re fucked we know) and I love it all.
Hope your well ED007 still on most days
Hail Hail.
{Ed007's Note - I'm good thanks mate, I hope you & the family are good ???

All good Ed thanks, time just passes so quick. Believe it or not it was a year on the 28th Feb since my much loved and wise granny passed unreal.
{Ed007's Note - I've found as I get older that the days drag in but the months & years fly by. God bless your Gran, RIP ???

If you are still looking for tickets on day of match, go to the car park when the supporters buses arrive, there are often people who run buses that have spare tickets . I am not sure what time, as I usually fly nowadays, but I think it may be just after 12 when Irish buses arrive.
